THE GIRL I KNEW

AUTHOR'S NOTE {2}

I have nothing but words and gratitude towards every person that clicked on this book. This is not just an Author's Note for THE GIRL I KNEW, but also the final Author's Note for Gabriella and André's love story.

As you know, T.G.I.K is the sequel of the American based High School romance — T.N.G. I started Gabriella and André's story in the early part of 2019. I was probably thirteen or twelve, I can't even remember the exact date. And now four years later, their story is coming to an end.

The journey has been tough and filled with a lot of inconsistency recently due to writer's block here and there. I remember starting it with serious fire and most especially during the early part of 2020. It was upon recently I got my mojo back from God. It is so surreal to see how much I have grown as a person and as the writer of this book in the minds of Gabriella, André, Scarlet, Tequila, Andrea, Camilla, Jake, Drake, Wes, Luciana, Chloé, Andrew, Nathan, Rose, Rokkett, Daniel, and so many more individually amazing people.

I started this book as a little teenage girl that didn't know what being a writer truly is. It's not just about putting the first idea that comes to your head, or going with the flow without the need of a journal that has the entire plot written out. I was just that bored quirky kid that heard there was an app where you could write stories. And I was a very inquisitive child that wanted to try everything so I just hopped along without a care in the world.

It is so crazy to see how far I have come. Literally, if you did read THE NEW GIRL, you would see how I grew as a writer. From the grammatical mistakes, to the not well thought out plot, just....everything in general. Embarrassing, but cute.

I know one day, I'll bare the cringe and edit the bad cheese out of T.N.G.

But um, let me not talk too much. But yeah, you have reached the end! Thank you so much for sticking around. I love you for your support and dedication you gave to reading my book.

{I'm editing this Author's Note, and it's now I'm actually getting emotional. Wow, I'm never going to write about Gaby and André anymore....Give me two minutes to shed some dramatic tears}.
