COMMENTS MAKE ME SMILE 🙃💛
GABRIELLA’S POV:
There was a knock at my door to which I accepted an entrance. It was my secretary. I rolled my eyes as hard as my eyeballs could.
“What do you want?” I spoke sharply to her as always while staring at my work. Truth be told is that I don’t like her. In fact the thought of firing her has crossed my mind MULTIPLE TIMES since André entered my life again.
Why? Well, if I’m being honest, I just don’t like the way she keeps on looking at André like she’s eye fucking him!
In fact, if not all then almost all of my female employees and even some guys which I am starting to think are not straight are always looking at him. It irks me so badly that I can’t help but shoot invincible daggers at them.
As for Rose, God knows if not for her tolerance she has had for my hot temper and impatient self since I started working for my father, I’d have fired her last week for even blushing at him when he came to my office and talked sweetly to her.
Bastard!
“Ummm, Miss Dalmonte you have a gift.” She brought herself in along with a big bouquet of purple and white roses.
I didn’t know when I lost control of my professional self that my employees knew me as and smiled so giddily. She noticed it and was quickly stunned. I immediately covered it up and kept my normal blank and hard stare.
I stood up and took it from her. My nostrils caught the scent of the roses and I felt my body relax immediately. “These are beautiful.” I remarked with an inward giggle.
“Umm Ma’am.” She called on me as I went to an empty vase to place the flowers. I stared around my big office room. It was turning into a flower shop!
I took the card from the bouquet and read it. ‘You’re even more beautiful than the last time I saw your innocent face’. I grinned at the words like some lovesick teenager.
“Yes?” I rose my brow at her.
“The flowers. They’re not from Mr. Lombardi.”
“What do you mean they’re not from him?” I placed my hands on my hips and faced her.
“Well, Mr. Lombardi normally writes his name in the card and—”
“How the hell do you know that?! Wait, are you trying to insinuate that you read my cards?!”
This bitch is most definitely getting fired today!
“I-I’m s-s-sorry ma’am it’s just—”
“Just what?! Speak!” I ordered her and she flinched. “You know what? Get out! Pack your things, and get out of my company. YOU’RE FIRED!”
“M-M-Ma’am please don’t fire me. I can’t afford to lose this job, I have a two months old baby at home that depends on only me. P-Please Miss Dalmonte, you’re a mother yourself, try and understand and forgive me.” She was already in tears.
I knew my secretary for being emotional anytime I shouted at her since she started working for me five weeks ago so the tears were not new to me. But what touched me was what she said.
