Growing Up!

It has been 6 years since the Kyuubi attack and Konoha had once again returned to being a peaceful village. The quaint little Village Hidden In The Leaves had completely recovered from the Kyuubi attack but as they say, some scars can never be healed.

...The wrath of the villagers fell upon the little Uzumaki children who carried the burden of the Kyuubi.

Little Naruto had grown up to be a fine young boy. He was smart for his age...VERY smart. He had never missed to see the glares or frowns of the villagers aimed at his little family consisting of himself, his mother and his sister. Whenever they went to a shop or a park people would give them a wide berth.

However he never knew WHY?! Being the curious child that he is he asked his mother. Kushina had smiled and answered that the villagers were mean idiots who blamed them for no reason...He accepted it and decided upon the fact...The villagers were a bunch of meanies.

...Pretty good conclusion for a 6 year old eh?

Well all villages were meanies except for the kind old man with the big beard wearing a big fancy hat with white robes who visited them from time-to-time. Also there was this lady with lavender color eyes who visited them sometimes with her older daughter Hinata and her younger daughter Hanabi. Then there was Mikoto-Oba-chan who came to visit them sometimes with 'Tachi-nii-san and Satsuki-chan!

Naruto had always been a quiet child. He was drilled about manners from his mother to become a future clan head...Did he forget to tell you that his mother became the Uzumaki matriarch 2 years ago? And being the older sibling she insisted that Naruto HAS TO take up the mantle of being the future patriarch...

Upset for his sister when Naruto had asked what would happen to his adorable little sister. Kushina had smiled mysteriously and said that it was a secret she would tell them when they were Chunin.

Unknown to the children Kushina already had it all planned. Kushina knew Naruto was the one with more...dominant Uzumaki genes even though he had red streaked blonde hair while Natsumi had red. And he was always the one with a cool head on his shoulders...atleast compared to his sister. Thus she decided to groom Naruto as the future Uzumaki clan head while eventually when Natsumi became Chunin, she would be made aware of her heritage and given the title of Namikaze clan head.

Although Naruto and Natsumi were very caring towards each other they had 2 VERY radically different personalities.

While Naruto preferred cooler colors like blue or black! THAT THRICE DAMNED BLACK! Kami knows of Naruto's attraction (read as obsession) with the color BLACK of all colors. Kushina would never know about that peculiar trait of her son's love for BLACK and the darkness. While Naruto prefers to think strategically to use less force and maximize effect, Natsumi preferred to charge in first - consequences be damned! In contrast to more stealthy darker shades that Naruto prefers, Natsumi preferred...Brighter and warmer colors...More specifically, a certain BRIGHT NEON ORANGE COLOR!

...So yeah, Natsumi's unique fashion sense can sometimes be an eyesore...Cause she ALWAYS! ALWAYS wears that orange top with floral designs along with her orange skirt. Combine that with her red hair and fiery temper and you get the 'Orange-Hot-Blooded-Habenero Of Konoha'

So in a nutcase...Yeah, those 6 years had been pretty handful to Kushina...

But today was a special day...Today they were going to unlock their chakra...There were only 2 years more, when Naruto and Natsumi turn 8 then they would join the Shinobi academy. So they needed to start training. So currently we can see Kushina, Naruto and Natsumi on an unused training field.

"As I was saying was, today we're going to unlock your chakra...You are 6 year old and the academy starts in 2 years more so you need to unlock your chakra. Let's do it 'ttebane!" Kushina told them. Both of them appeared giddy at the prospect of unlocking their chakra.
