To Be A Shinobi

Naruto's eyes bulged out of his socket as he stared at the massive sword in front of him...It was atleast 4 to 5 feet in length. He turned to the red-headed demoness and asked, "Wh-What is this? Why are these lines on my face?" Naruto immediately panicked as he looked into the water below him to see his darkened and more prominent whiskers and slitted red eyes...Not unlike a certain bitc – vixen he knew. Overall Naruto's appearance became...feral. He panicked more as his heartbeat increased to extreme levels, "W-What is this s-sword? Wh-Why is it all dark now?"

"This, my dear is your Zanpakuto. Soul Slayer. And you are currently in your released form...Well a VERY bastardized form of Shikai...And Ahhhhhh~ The darkness...So soothing, so calm, so serene...Tell me brat have you ever felt at peace when its nighttime? When the soft wind blows around you and all melodies of nature are quiet? When your mamma turns off the light of your room have you felt the peace that comes with it? Darkness is everywhere brat. Everywhere...Even in your heart..."She smiled wryly and mockingly at Naruto. Naruto fidgeted nervously before he spoke, "I-I...Y-Yes...I-I...like dark things...They are cool"

Kyuubi smirked victoriously at him, "And we have a winner folks...Congratulations brat, your Zanpakuto is made of darkness. The very embodiment of your soul. Oh I have seen, heard, tasted, felt the darkness deep within your soul brat...Day by Day the pent up hatred, anger, sorrow, rage increases. The negative emotions that you store away...Each day they grow. That is the darkness in your heart. And now they have manifested itself in your Zanpakuto...OUR Zanpakuto" She corrected herself before she smirked evilly, "...This is the blade that can cut through the night. This is the blade of the endless abyss. The manifestation of all the dark entities. Call out its name and wreck havoc in the world......"

There was some silence for moments later on. Naruto frowned in confusion. The woman's monotone was kinda cool but...Was something supposed to happen?

The fox-woman huffed, "So you can't hear my name yet...Pity. I was so eager for some bloodshed..." She faux-sighed at the end for the dramatic effect.

Naruto's face paled and he gasped. The six year old couldn't understand why would she WANT bloodshed? It was bad right? Naruto gathered all of his courage and told the Kyuubi, "NO WAY! I will never kill someone for bloodshed! Evil woman" He puffed up his cheeks and glared (adorably) at the older vixen.

The Kyuubi grinned evilly, "Oh but you will Naru-chan~" She cooed mockingly, "...Oh you poor naïve misguided soul. Aren't you training to be a shinobi? And do you think that Shinobi go around saving princesses and getting kisses from them? Do you think that they 'protect the village' by defeating the enemies..." Her smile increased tenfold as she looked at the confusion on the boy's face.

"WRONG! They are serial killers and glorified assassins who would take a life within a heartbeat and piss on their graves...If the dead person received one that is...They would kill their enemies and bring back their bodies for experiments. They steal from other villages for the gain of their own village. And they would not be afraid to massacre a whole village worth of people if that means the gain of their own...Now you see what it means to be a shinobi?" She laughed cruelly again as she looked at the horror on Naruto's face.

"...And if you are going to become a Shinobi you have to kill at a point. And you will use the blade because...It's a part of you. AHAHAH! And then I would feel the rush of blood on its edge and relish in the death and bloodshed that you cause..." If Naruto had any doubts that the Kyuubi was insane then those doubts were erased by now...Poor little Naru-chan concluded that Kyuubi was crazy, psychopathic, bloodthirsty bitc – vixen with severe obsession with blood and gore.
