~3rd Person P.O.V.~

Everyone sat in their seats as Mr. Phillips walked by the row of girls. Y/n sat in-between Anne and Diana.

"Spell "ravishing."" Mr. Phillips says to Charlie, who stood up at the front, a piece of chalk in his hand.

He started writing on the board, everyone else doing so on their little boards in front of them.

As they were doing so, Mr. Phillips smirks at Prissy as he passes her in the back. She gives a shy smile before looking down at her board, the smile still there.

Diana, who watched at Mr. Phillips passed Prissy, turned behind her to Josie, whispering something in her ear. Josie smirks, whispering what Diana told her in Ruby's ear, who sat beside her.

Ruby giggles quietly, turning to Tillie, who sat right behind her, whispering now in her ear.

Anne and Y/n continue paying attention to the front as Charlie finishes writing the word.

"Correct. You may sit." Mr. Phillips says. "Moody, stand and deliver."

Moody obeys, standing up, walking to the chalkboard.

"Spell "dreadful."" Mr. Phillips says.

As Moody starts writing his "D" for dreadful, Mrs. Phillips rolls his eyes at the way he wrote it.

"Like your handwriting." He comments, making the class chuckle.

Just then, Anne stands up, seeing the boy made a mistake.

"Moody, it has an "A" in it, right after the "E," but the "A" is silent." She informs.

Mr. Phillips walks forward, "Yes, the "A" is silent, as you should be. You're the, I'm, orphan, yes?" He turns to Y/n, "Along with you?"

"Our names are Anne and Y/n Shirley-Cuthbert, and please be sure to spell "Anne" with an "E."" Anne says.

"Did I call on you?" He questions.

"You-You just asked me a question." Anne stutters.

"Did I call on you?" He asks more firmly.

"No." The red head squeaks out.

"Then sit down."

Anne obeys, quickly sitting down, as the class chuckles at her. Y/n rubs her sisters back soothingly, as Diana puts a hand on Y/n's shoulder.

Anne and Y/n sat at a table, silently eating their food for lunch.

A couple feet away, sat the girls in their little fort. Diana unhooks the blanket they hung up, looking at the girls with wide eyes and a smile.

"Y/n! Anne!" She calls.

They get up as she motions them over.

"Come here!" Josie calls.

They join in the little fort, sitting beside each other.

"I thought lunch time would never arrive." Josie states.

"I feel the same way!" Anne smiles at them.

"I'm just so excited to hear about everything that you two saw!" Josie almost squeals.

"Me too." Ruby nods vigorously.

"Me three!" Tillie adds.

"What do you mean?" Y/n asks, not smiling as brightly as the rest of them.

"Prissy and Mr. Phillips, silly." Josie explains. "In the supply room."
