I watched Hayden as she stared around the fair, a big smile on her face like a kid in a candy store.
"It's so....much."
"Yea they go all out. Wait till it start getting dark. Everything lit up...it's really beautiful."
"I bet. What you wanna do first?"
"You choose. You got the wheel."
She smiled before wrapping her arm into mine.
"We should do rides first. Then we can play games, put the prizes in the car and then Ferris wheel."
"Okay Miss Organized Itinerary."

We rode everything possible. Some even twice. Going back to the games Hayden thought she could best me at basketball, and I shut that down easily. She was all pouty faced until I have her the giant teddy bear.
After winning a couple more things, we got some food and headed back to the truck. Putting the prizes in the backseat and then sitting in the back bed to eat.
"There's the two sneaky muhfuckas who ditched us." I heard Jason's voice and looked up to see him, Nessa, Carter and Tammy.
"We ain't ditch y'all. We didn't come with you at all."
Jason gave me a glare before speaking.
"That's ditching. We always go to the fair together."
"Well I wanted to go with my girl. Don't be a hater."
Jason shut his eyes and put a finger up.
"Holonholonholon. Giirlllll??"
Hayden laughed putting her burger down.
"That's what he said."
Carter stepped in.
"You let him cuff you.....but wouldn't give me no energy. I'm hurt Hayden....I'm really hurt."
