Under your skin
Feel my blood flow with yours
My heart beat with yours
Sharing this body as one
Save me as I save you
This skin holds enough room for two
Under my skin
I belong with you
As you belong with me

"The fuck are you doing here?"
Angry wasn't even the word. I was ready to get in my truck and make my way home but who do I see waiting in the parking lot a couple cars away, searching for me through the crowd of student?
This nigga Daniel.
"I aint get to talk to you at Hailey house, not before you jabbed me in my eye."
"Cuz I ain't got shit to say to you."
"All that cussin shit....that's gon end. You ain't finna talk to me like that—"
"Ion fuckin know you." I laughed. "You finna come up here and try to give me a fatherly talking to or sum nigga?"
"I am ya father."
"You ain't shit but an ancestral link. You ain't no part of my life. And you not gonna be, so stop tryna get in contact with me."
"Xavier please. One sit down. One talk, let me....talk."
I crossed my arms and shifted my weight to my right, making it seem like I was thinking it over. The answer was still no.
"Ight."
He relaxed, his shoulders falling with a sigh escaping from him.
"I thought it over. Answer still no."
"You stubborn as hell just like yo mama."
I dropped my bag from my shoulder and walked up on him, pointing my finger in is face.
"Lemme make some shit crystal fuckin clear. Don't ever....ever fuckin speak about my mother. I don't give a fuck what you sayin about her, good or bad. Keep it. Don't mention her, her fuckin name." I brought my hand down and scoffed. "Got some fuckin nerve after what you did to her."
"What I did? What did I do, since you know every damn thing."
"You know damn well what you did. And I ain't finna re-hash the situation or get your point of view. You might as well have put her in that grave with ya own hands." I grabbed my bag off the ground and tossed it over my shoulder. "Fuck you man."
I started to walk off but I heard him yell after me.
"Gon head walk off without knowing the truth boy! You think people around you looking out for you but all they do is lie! Lie about me, lie about ya mom! You don't know nothing Xavier! You don't know nothing bout the truth!"
I stopped and looked back at him as he dug through his pockets. He pulled out an envelope and tossed it on the ground. He pointed to it and exhaled.
"Take that." He wagged his finger. "And you decide when you wanna talk to me. Or you wanna run to Hailey and have her feed you more lies....that's your choice. You living with the devil boy. She don't know what family truly mean. Havana needed her....and she turned her away. Convenient that she became your guardian after that-"
