Dice went to work the next morning ad usual except he just couldnt get grace out of his head. It was as if she had a hold on him like the devil did on his soul except he didn't mind whatever hold Grace had on him. Her smile warmed his heart and her voice was smooth and gentle, just like her lovely little hands.
As he went about filing his morning paperwork he found himself more than once wondering what she could be up to, if she was managing alright with her newfound vision, if she had enough to eat for breakfast or if she was even awake.
He would catch himself just staring at the blank files in front of him as he thought of her and have to shake his head clear only to find himself like that again a few minutes later.
He did it so often that he was actually running behind on his work for the morning by the time the other employees began to file down from their rooms. He scrambled yo finish the papers before going out onto the floor to help with opening the casino. At least he didn't have to worry about Satan coming down to bother him this early so he wouldn't have to listen to the melodramatics of his boss teasing him for his new affections towards grace.
Or so he thought.
"Dice!" Satan called out as he stepped onto the floor and dice nearly dropped the box of heavy vodka bottles he was carrying over to the bar. What was he doing up so early!?
"Just a second boss!" He called back before setting the box down on the counter for the tipsy troop to put away before hurrying over to his boss.
Satan smirked down at him, his arms folded across his chest as he inspected him. "How's the eye there dicey?" He mused.
Dice resisted a sigh as he folded his hands behind his back and avoided glaring at his boss, "it's just as blind as it was yesterday. I imagine it'll stay that way until you're bored." He remarked.
Satan chuckled. "Aww dice are you're sore with me? You should be greatful! I helped that little girlfriend of yours. Now she can see and she doesn't need you to help her."
"She's not my girlfriend boss and I'm certain she could make it just fine without me regardless."
Satan chuckled and started walking towards his throne , dice quickly followed.
"Tell me dice. Where is she today? I'd have thought you'd have brought such a hot little thing home."
"I took her home to her father where she wanted to be. As far as I know that's where she's still at."
Satan moved to sit down on the golden throne and he smirked again at dice, "bring her here. I wanna keep an EYE on her. If you know what I mean. After all if she's not your girlfriend she's free game isn't she?"
Dice tensed at the thought of his boss looking at Grace in such a way, knowing how his boss treated women made him sick enough but... for him to want to do that to grace made it worse. "Sir, with all due respect, I doubt she wants to be anywhere near this casino or you for that matter after yesterday."
"Hey! She's the one who made the deal. Now that b uisness is out of the way she can get to see the real me. I'll have her eating out of the palm of my hand in no time. Now do as I say and bring her here." He said gesturing for dice to run along and get to fulfilling his order.
Dice resisted a groan but allowed himself a small sigh, unable to resist his boss's orders due to their contract he turned and headed for the door to head for Grace's home with a mix of excitement and nervousness.

As dice pulled up to the little house in the cab he looked and saw her there in her bedroom window, pulling her dress on over her head. Her back was to the window so dice couldn't see much other than her bra and her gentle curve of her upper body but damn if that wasn't enough to nearly knock dice off his feet as he stepped out of the cab. He would have to get her some real curtains other than those simple lace ones. Did she change in front of that window often? Did she know people could see her? How many people saw her like that?! He would kill anyone who dared gaze upon such an innocent lady.
He shook his head to clear his mind of such things, his cheeks turned a vibrant violet color as he made his way to the front door and he brought his hand up to knock on its rough wooden surface, hoping she would be the one to answer and not her father who clearly disliked dice.
