When Grace woke up she was being carried down a long hallway, held against someone's chest gently as their thumb rubbed tiny gentle circles on her shoulder.
She moaned softly and looked up, seeing it was dice who carried her, his gaze straight ahead and a look of deep thought on his face.
"Dice?" She whispered, making him jolt but he turned his gaze down on her and smiled.
"Well there she is. Sleep well?" He asked, kissing her forehead.
She smiled softly and nodded, curling against him more.
"I did... what's going on?"
"Just taking you to my room sweetness. It's late. I figured we could just sleep here tonight." He said gently. "If that's alright?"
She nodded, a bit excited to see where he spent his time before she came along and seemed to soak up all of his free time.
He smiled again and soon they stopped at a door with a golden K.D. written on it in fancy lettering.
He sat her down on her feet and pulled the key from his pocket and opened the door for her.
"Come on in and make yourself at home darling." He said with a wink.
She smirked and stepped inside.
It was a lavish suite with gold and purple everywhere. He clearly had a color theme he liked and she had to admit she liked it too.
The furniture was plush and soft looking and the walls were all decked out in golden artwork.
"This is beautiful." She said softly as he locked the door behind them.
"My little slice of Hell." He joked as he placed a hand on her cheek and kissed the other.
"Come on. Let's get you into a bath and I'll see about getting us some food. I bet you're starving." He said, taking her hand.
She smiled and nodded, her stomach growing as if on cue as he lead her into his bedroom and it's large on suite bathroom with a large black stone bathtub.
He knelt down and fiddled with the knobs for a moment before the water started to fill the tub and he pulled a bottle of sparkling white fluid from a small cabinet beside the tub. He opened the bottle and sniffed it before adding it to the water and bubbles began to form, the scent of lilac and lavender filling the air.
She hugged herself as she stood there, watching his prepare her a bath as she thought about the events of the day.
She couldnt believe she had just slapped that demon without even thinking... It's not like she had ever been grabbed like that before but still she couldn't believe that had been her reaction. And then for the devil to juat...rip his heart out without a care in the world to save her from that demons wrath... she couldn't understand why. Was he being possessive or protective? He had called her a toy but he also said he would make her his yet before in his office.
Maybe this working for the devil for favors wasn't such a good idea. Maybe she should think about finding a real job. After all now that her father was better why should she stay here?
She could still come visit dice and he could visit her so it's not like they'd be apart... unless... the devil kept him from coming to see her. Could he do that? Would he?
The very thought filled her with dread.
She was pulled from her thoughts as dice moved to her and tilted her chin up to make her look at him.
"Your bath is ready love." He said gently.
She smiled up at him and moved to hug him tight. "Thank you Dice. You're really too good to me."
He chuckled and snaked his arms around her, laying his chin on top of her head."Well I love you darling. I want you to be treated like the queen you are to me."
She blushed a soft red color and nuzzled her face against him.
"I love you too my King." She whispered.
He smirked and hugged her even tighter. "You should get in the bath before it gets cold." He told her, still not moving to let her go.
"Why don't you get in with me?" She asked, turning her face up to look at him.
He raised an eyebrow with his smirk. "You want me to bathe with you my dear?" He asked, his hands moving down to her hips.
She bit her lip to hide her little smile and nodded, leaning up to kiss his nose before slipping put of his grip and moving to take off her skimpy little outfit before climbing into the bubbles.
