King Dice was the first one to wake up the next morning and he was none too happy about it. The sun wasn't even up and a small raspy voice called out to him from beside the bed.
"Mr. King Dice. Mr. King Dice Sir!" Said an imp, his little clawed hands up on the edge of the bed.
He moaned as he turned to look at the little demonic creature. "What? I'm sleeping damnit." He snarled quietly, trying desperately not to wake grace and scare her.
"Lord Lucifer says he wants the two of you back at the casino by 10." Said the little imp.
Dice rolled his eyes. "We will be. I knew that already. Go away." He said, closing his eyes again to try and go back to sleep for a while.
"Yes sir...He also says he hopes you had fun..." He said before quickly disappearing into the shadows under her bed.
Dice snapped awake fully at the remark and his blood ran a bit cold, quickly looking down at Grace's sleeping form on his chest. Had he gotten her in trouble by having sex with her? What would Lucifer do to her? He prayed nothing but feared the worst.

When Grace awoke a few hours later she smiled, feeling dice breathing under her and hearing his heart beat beneath her ear. So last night had not been a dream. It had been real.
She lifted her head and saw dice staring up at her ceiling while he ran his hand soothingly up and down her back, seemingly lost in thought.
"Goodmorning." She said softly and dice jolted a little, turning to look at her, not having noticed her stir awake.
"Oh, good morning beautiful. Sleep well?" He asked, smiling.
She nodded and leaned up to kiss him softly. "Best night sleep I've ever had. How long have you been up?"
"Just a little while. You're so precious when you're asleep." He said, brushing some hair from her face before he watched her sit up, the sheet falling off her as the morning sun danced against her body while she stretched.
"You're such a flatterer." She teased before she moved off him and went about pulling her clothes from her closet.
He sat up on the edge of the bed, smiling and watching her. He could watch her get ready all day. "Well it is my job."
She smirked over her shoulder, "Well you do your job very well."
She pulled on the same outfit she had worn the day before but today pulled her hair up into a tight bun on her head to keep it off her neck in case they went to hell again. That way she might keep a little cooler.
Dice got dressed too and moved to stand behind her in the mirror, holding her around her waist. "Beautiful." He whispered.
She smiled at their reflection and placed her hands over his.
"Yes. You are." She said with a wink and he chuckled, kissing her cheek. "I'll go call a cab." He told her before heading out of her room to do so.

When the cab arrived dice lead her out to it and the two climbed in and Grace couldn't help but notice how nervous dice seemed to be.
His knee bounced as he watched the world pass by outside the window and he held her close to his side.
Had she done something wrong? Said something? Did something happen that she didn't know about?
"Dice?" She asked, making him jump a little. But he quickly smiled down at her.
"Yes darlin? What's on that beautiful mind of yours?" He said, sounding a bit too casino manager-like for her.
She made a bit of a face and raised an eyebrow. "Why do you look so nervous? If your skin wasn't porciline I'd bet it still be white as a sheet."
His cheeks turned lavender with a blush. Could she really see him that well or was he just not hiding his nerves well enough? He honestly probably wasn't hiding them since around her he felt comfortable and vuneralble.
He sighed and looked off, "just worried about you with the devil is all... I don't know how well he will take it is he finds out that we... well." He smirked down at her and she blushed and smiled.
"Well I don't plan on announcing it to the world let alone him and I doubt he will ask..."
"He might. He is the devil. He can read your sins dear and that was a mighty powerful little sin we did." He said into her ear and she pushed at him, laughing nervously.
"Then I'll be honest and say it's none of his damn business." She retorted.
He laughed brightly and shook his head. Why was he so nervous? Grace was a little pistol. She could handle that big cat. Besides. It WASNT any of his business who dice slept with or who grace slept with. And if they slept with eachother well that still wasn't his business.
"You're right darlin. I guess I just worry for nothing sometimes." He said, kissing her cheek.
"You'll turn yourself into a real old man if you worry all the time dice. Be careful."
"What do you mean a real old man?"
"Well Piroetta told me you've been at the casino for over 200 years right?"
He sighed, making a face. He wished that woman would keep her trap shut.
"Yes I guess that's true... and that doesn't bother you?"
She shook her head and rested her head on his shoulder. "Not one bit. Surprisingly enough king I don't much care about superficial things like looks or age. I care about what's in a person's heart and I love what I've seen in yours."
Dice smiled warmly down at her and kissed the top of her head. Man had he gotten lucky. She was one special lady.
