A loose screw...

"So?" Yana raised her eyebrow as a male before her nervously scrambled the documents on the table.

"I'm sorry Miss, but I'd like to speak to the owner," the male was fairly young to be the buyer. He also didn't have the necessary wit.

"I'm in charge here," Yana coldly said.

It wasn't a lie. The director ran off, leaving everything to her, "Aren't you too clumsy to be wanting to buy the orphanage? What are you going to do with it?"

Yana's blunt words hit the young male in his anxious heart. The documents fell out of his hands. He didn't want to do this too!

His boss was currently in an important emergency meeting, so he had to take over briefly. However, from the beginning until now this woman exuded such strong hostility, his forehead started to form sweat. What did he do?

He has been in so many meetings with so many important people and always perfectly done his work but now he was cornered by a female who didn't seem to be as experienced as him! What a disgrace! If his boss knew that!

"I can see you're worried but rest assured we won't do anything that could damage the orphanage's future."

"We?"

A few minutes ago, Seli told Yana that the buyer came waiting in the director's office. She naturally sat on the director's chair and coldly greeted the male. The first thing Yana thought was that he wasn't anyone special.

Average height. Slightly above average face. Average personality. He was someone Yana could deal with but the sharp glint that sometimes flashed through his eyes made Yana aware that he wasn't as easy as she initially thought.

And she was right. He was trying to stall time. Could it be that there was actually someone behind him? If that was the case, this was getting troublesome.

"Yes, my boss."

"Then where is this so-called boss? Stuck in your nose? Do I need to pull him out?"

Yana's rough words made the male almost cry. He really didn't do anything! Rather than that, he couldn't do anything!

He wished he could jump up and shout at her that she should show him some mercy because he was just a poor white-collar worker not making enough to be dealing with this bullshit!

But he didn't. He was a good and patient person.

"I'm sorry, he's right now busy."

"I see," Yana's narrowed eyes swept over the male, "He thinks he's too good for this rundown place, huh?"

"That's not it," the male finally managed to scramble all the documents together and put them in a staple.

"Then what is it? Do I have to pull it out of your ass this time?"

The male made an offended expression but quickly calmed himself. This woman was really... nasty!

He didn't like her at all! She just trampled on his good feelings like it was natural to do so.

Actually, Yana didn't want to be rude either but she had to show her unyielding side to establish the boundaries and dominance. No matter what, this orphanage couldn't be given up.

"You're not going to talk?" Yana watched the male open his mouth.

"Miss-"

RING RING RING

Suddenly, a loud 'Baby hit me one more time' echoed through the silent room.

It was just one sentence. Then the phone just vibrated.

"Cough, erm," the male looked at Yana with a straight face. No embarrassment at all.

"Excuse me, I need to take this."

"Go ahead," Yana secretly admired the guy a bit as he solemnly and dignified stood up with the phone in his hand and walked out of the room, not knowing he was silently dying inside.

Yana used the alone time to take a rest and steel her nerves.

It wasn't in her nature to be so cold and unsympathetic to someone, especially at their first meeting. Yana straightened her hair as she heard the door open. Her fingers glided over the staple full of paper and she tried to look as nonchalant as possible.

This way she seemed more intimidating. The door clicked. Yana didn't look up from the table, but instead said with a haughty tone, "You done? Let's get to business. Screw your boss."

Silence.

Yana's fingers stopped stroking the paper. Why wasn't he saying anything? She knew he was in the room. She heard him coming in. Was he now trying to play some games with her?

Or wait. Did he leave again?

Yana instantly looked up. Her long black hair was thrown over her shoulders. Her luscious lips opened and her crystal clear eyes widened.

"Who-" then Yana recognised.

The familiar raven black hair. The high nose. The dark, mysteriously attractive eyes. His lips turning into a smile.

His tall figure leaned against the door, his long legs rested against the wall and the black suit he wore enhanced his broad shoulders. Few strands of his loose hair fell over his enticing face.

5 years.

It has been five years yet there was no way Yana could not not recognise him. Even if she was in the middle of a busy street, in a concert crowd, she'd always be able to spot him.

Even if ten, twenty years passed, this handsome face of his, Yana could never forget.

For some reason, Yana's heart was beating fast. She realised she's been staring at him for too long and quickly adjusted her gaze. However, what made her feel weird was that he stared right back at her with a little smile. Relentlessly. Not breaking eye contact.

She hoped he wouldn't recognise him, just as she pretended not to know him.

Luka.

His name spun in her mind over and over again, making her feel dizzy and drunk from confusion. Finally, she cleared her throat and pretending to be unfazed, asked, "You're the boss?"

Recollecting her scattering thoughts, Yana indifferently looked at him.

Luka pushed himself off the wall. He didn't say anything but Yana could see it. His expensive suit, the gold watch on his arm, the leather shoes. Luka must've become someone influential and rich-

Well, it was a given, he studied hard while she dropped out of university.

A bitter taste formed in her mouth. Luka suave grabbed the chair and seated himself. Still not talking and still relentlessly watching her, making her scalp go numb and goosebumps to form on her skin.

However, Yana suddenly got a daunting feeling.

Luka seemed to be the buyer. Then... what did he want to do with the orphanage?

Just what-

"It's been a long while, Yana. Although we've just met each other again, you already want to screw?"
