Lord may pray for him

The next day, Yana woke up groggily. She has spent the night talking with Marie and planning, so she only fell asleep early in the morning. Next thing she knew the noisy children ruined her well-deserved sleep.

Yana sat up and stared at the air blankly without registering anything. She didn't want to wake up. She wanted to indulge herself in her soft pillows, the huggable blanket and cosy bed. Yana loved to hug her blanket to sleep every night.

She blinked.

Maybe she was lonely.

She blinked again.

Maybe she needed a boyfriend.

She blinked for the third time.

What a joke. She fell back onto her bed and suffocated herself with her pillow. She couldn't afford to fall into the trap of romance.

In the first place, Yana didn't care about emotions and feelings anyway.

"How annoying," no matter how many times she blinked it just didn't go away, "Am I so sleep-deprived I'm hallucinating now?"

"I'm glad you always hallucinate about me."

Yana's eyes narrowed and her brain was thrown out of her head. She had thought this since she woke up but the face of a bug has been staring at her the whole time.

At first, she thought she was still dreaming, then she blamed it on being tired but now that it talked Yana couldn't ignore it anymore.

And how she could!

She instantly turned around on her bed and suffocated her face in her pillow again. Begone nightmare begone.

The moment Yana opened her eyes... what did she see?

The dazzling face of Luka!

Wasn't it a bit too sparkly? Or was it due to the rising sun from the window dying Luka's hair in golden light?

"Morning to you too."

In horror, Yana gripped her blanket. His floating face continued to talk!

In reality, Luka sat on Yana's bed, his upper body leaning over her and his face only a short distance away from hers before she threw herself into her pillows.

Luka thought it would be a good to let Yana develop the habit of seeing his face the first thing in the morning, so when he wasn't here she'd miss him and call him, but apparently seeing him here was too sudden for her. Yes, that was it. That was the only reasonable explanation.

Luka even wore casual clothes instead of his suit, although he needed to change later anyway. The grey shirt perfectly showed off his neckline and framed his toned body in a lazy yet tempting way. Luka's high nose and his slightly misted eyes were covered by the shadows of his messy hair.

Seeing him like this, how could any woman resist him? Yana groaned into her pillow. Why was he here? What did he want? Why was he looking like this? Dammit!

As a CEO he had way too much free time! Did this even make sense? NO!

Suddenly, Yana felt the blanket lift. And her waist lightly squeezed.

BAM!

A pillow was thrown into Luka's face. He didn't even have the chance to get it off as Yana lunged at him and with her hand on the pillow threw him onto the bed.

There were two reasons why Yana did what she did, almost suffocating him.

A- Because he dared to touch her like this. Quiet intimately.

B- Because she didn't want him to see her face. She was sure her cheeks were tinted red and her heart was beating too fast.

Why did he just squeeze her like this? What did he want from her? It was almost like he was leading her on. Yana took a deep breath to calm herself down but she only applied more force on the pillow about to put Luka in his grave.

Suddenly his arm slung around her waist and pulled her closer to him. Surprised Yana let go of the pillow and her head bumped into Luka's chest as he sat up and stroked her head.

"Now, don't try to murder me," there was a playful tone in his voice.

"If I really wanted to, you wouldn't be alive anymore."

It was true. If Yana wanted to harm Luka... Lord pray for him.

The position they were in, was again too ambiguous. He was showing her too much affection. What was wrong with him? Did he suddenly turn into another person?

Yana grabbed his hand that cheekily trailed around her back and twisted it lightly enough to let go of her before she freed herself from his embrace and scrambled away from him. Then she glared at him from the other side of the bed.

Luka's lips turned into a small smile. Right now, Yana was too cute. She was like a kitten baring its fangs at him. Her big, clear eyes were angrily staring at him but it was too adorable. Her long messy hair fell over her shoulders and mingled with the large black t-shirt she wore.

And her trousers- her trousers- Luka coughed. She wasn't wearing any. Instead, her pale long legs fell into his view. Cough.

"Ahem," Luka took the blanket and covered the bare skin of Yana as she was on guard against him.

If he had known she only wore underwear, then- Luka quickly stopped thinking about it.

If he continued, the immense desire he tried hard to keep at bay since years would pour out all at once and confine Yana for a week straight to the bed.

As Luka's thought trailed into a dangerous direction, Yana scowled at his stupid smile and asked, "What are you here for?"

"To see you," no qualms, no hesitations, only an immediate answer straight fired out of a gun.

"You say this every time but you know what I think"? Yana watched Luka tilt his head in question, "You're here to annoy me. Oh, how great it must be to be a CEO so petty to make time to torture a poor maiden."

Luka's desires shattered in an instant and he lowered his head. Yana still thought he was angry at her or wanted to make her life hell. Even if he tried to clarify it, she wouldn't believe it.

What should he do? He was already trying to show her as much affection as he could but it was useless.

Yana sighed. She could clearly see how Luka was trying to think of an excuse to throw her off guard. Truly an evil mastermind. Yana had bigger things to worry about. She couldn't have Luka constantly trying to mess up her life.

She had to deal with him once and for all. Yana was sure that the second Luka discovered her, he swore to pay her back for leaving him hanging.

After all, a man's pride and ego were too important.

"I'm sorry."

Luka stared at Yana with wide eyes. Why was Yana apologising?

"I'm sorry for leaving you hanging back then. Ditching you without saying anything. I'm sincerely sorry. So now, that we've clarified it, you can get out of my life now."
