The door opened and in came a random guy. Perplexed he stared at Luka not breaking eye contact before he said, "Yana! Here you are! Let's go have some dri-"
"She's with me," Luka harshly interrupted the guy.
"Listen mate," the guy put his arm around Luka's shoulder, "You think we ain't know you hanging round her all the time? Cut us some slack, man. She's free to do anything she wants."
"Finished?" Luka raised his eyebrow then Yana couldn't follow what Luka exactly did but the next second, the guy was thrown out of the room.
Luka turned to Yana.
"Any objection?"
Yana's lips formed a thin line and shook her head quickly, "Nope sir."
"Good, back to work," with that Luka sat down again.
Yana looked outside the window and discovered it was already evening. Her whole day!
Not letting Luka catch on, she succumbed onto the table like jelly. Then she heard him sigh and immediately sat up. Her confused eyes followed Luka cleaning up the table, "You want to go drinking this badly? I know a good place."
Yana's eyes brightened. What was with Luka's sudden change and he drinks? He really didn't come across as that kind of person.
"What about dinner?" Yana skipped behind Luka as they left the library.
"What do you want to eat?" Luka didn't turn around but Yana instantly jumped next to his side and with bright eyes said, "Fried Chicken! Fried chicken and beer go well together!"
"Alright," Luka could only stare at Yana for a second before he had to look away. Did food really make her this happy?
As the two good-looking people entered the fried chicken store all heads turned to them.
In other people's eyes, they seemed like the perfect couple but if they knew the thoughts running through Yana's head, their view of them would drop faster than egg onto the ground.
With wide eyes, intensively, Yana looked at the menu calculating how much she could eat, how much she could exploit Luka for it and how much takeout they could carry together.
Yes, what Yana aspired right now was to get the most profit out of this situation. This wasn't just a normal dinner, this was a waging war inside of Yana's head.
One evil thought collided with another to form an absolute destructive force until Yana with much elegance put down the menu and looked at the cashier.
The cashier who had an admiring gaze didn't notice the glare Luka sent his way, neither did Yana. So, unknowingly Yana smiled at the cashier. His heart blossomed and he was ready to end the shift for Yana right now.
"One of everything," then his admiring gaze turned into shock.
Luka's glare turned into shock. The surrounding people who heard it were petrified. C-Come again?
"Are you sure?" Luka's new mission was to get Yana away from the absurd idea.
"Yes, is there a problem?" with innocence Yana batted her eyes at Luka then at the cashier.
"A serving has 20 wings."
"Yes."
"There are 20 different flavours."
"I know," Yana smiled like a holy mother pitying Luka, this child whose soul seemed to have left his body. Yana has calculated this perfectly.
400 chicken wings. Together they could eat 100 and then the rest, Yana would take it with her home and enjoy the leftover bliss for days.
This was perfect! An absolute foolproof plan! Yana made a little triumphant fist gesture and didn't notice the evil chuckles that left her lips.
Luka was afraid that whenever food was involved, Yana's non-existent brain cells formed a black void and sucked all of her brain away.
"Please take the order," Yana gave the cashier a brilliant smile. Sweat drops ran down his back.
"Y-Yes," then when Yana and Luka sat down to wait, the beautiful orchestra of the kitchen being in chaos, lulling the whole store in, made Yana's mood rise.
"You're impossible," Luka leaned back against the bench and stared at Yana's little smile. Her eyes were closed as she hummed, "Thank you."
Luka sighed but his lips curved. With her not a single second was boring. He didn't know if it was good or bad but what Luka did know was that it was addicting. Her presence was addicting to the point that if she left his life, he knew he wouldn't be able to cope with his bland life anymore.
For better or worse, she was a force that swept him off his feet and sent him straight into a storm full of cherry blossoms of destruction? Luka needed to spend more time with her to figure it out.
"What?'' when Yana opened her eyes she saw Luka smiling at her but once again her delusional mind told her it was the smile of the evil mastermind than the actual gentle one.
"You look stupid," but Luka's smile didn't cease. She should know he didn't mean it but unfortunately she didn't.
"You say that with your face."
"What?"
Luka instantly dropped his smile but before they could bicker, the poor cashier called out to them. One tray after another the fried chicken filled the table.
While Yana stuffed her face she asked, "You got any siblings?"
"No."
"Me neither."
The conversation was cut short as Yana was too busy filling her cheeks until it was almost the size of a balloon.
If Luka gave in to the temptation to poke it then boom. It'd explode. He was sure of it.
More than that, it was a good choice to not let Yana go drinking with that guy from the library. He couldn't let anyone see that insane face of hers apart for him.
One fried chicken after another, Yana destroyed them all while she made eye contact with Luka. He seemed to barely eat.
The 100 wings goal! No matter what, it has to be reached. Spurred on by Luka's lack of enthusiasm, Yana's hands moved faster and her mouth chewed quicker.
"Slow down," Luka handed her a drink.
"No," Yana shook her head, "The 100 goal!"
"The what?"
Yana quickly swallowed to explain Luka as she felt his soft fingers on her lips, then the gentle movement swiping across her mouth.
"You're a messy eater," not breaking eye contact Luka licked his finger and Yana's face instantly blanked.
Inside her head, chaos erupted. Inside her body, a warm and fuzzy feeling spread. No, no, no something was wrong here. Who was this? No way, there was no way this was Luka.
And what was with that action? Eating the crumble he wiped off her lips? What was this? A damned drama? No way in hell! Did she transmigrate? A dream? Illusion?
Was that why Luka was so different in the last time? Yana's brain worked and worked to find a solution until sorry Yana.exe has stopped working.
Yana's mind was racing while on the outside her blank face stared at the table, her two hands each held a wing. She wasn't moving, she completely froze.
Luka' drama move was devastating! One K.O after another! No, it was a pentakill!
Luka, however, was satisfied with the reaction and started to eat. Seeing that he was unfazed, Yana's eyes followed every movement of his before she slowly bit into her wings. Luka had an ulterior motive. Yana was sure of it and she'd uncover it!
