Ow..
THIRD POV:
Rey looked down at both of her sleeping daughters.. distraught filling her soul. Today was the day she had to leave them, and she didn't want to.
"Rey.. darling? We have to go now," Ben said softly as he came up behind her. He too is suffering, but he has been holding it together for Rey and his family. Trying to keep strong.
Rey looked up at him teary-eyed and shook her head, "Just a few more minutes?"
Ben sighed, "Alright."
He went and walked away into the living room and saw Angelica, Alena, and everyone else in the living room except for Finn and Poe. They were out telling the plans to the Naboo soldiers and the Resistance fighters and techniques.
"Please take care of our daughters.." Ben said to Angelica.
"Of course," she nodded her head in a friendly smile. Angelica went to the kitchen sat down as she quietly looked at her datapad.
Alena and Rose came forward and gave him a reassuring smile. They wished him good luck and promised him they will always be there for him and Rey. It made him a little bit better but also made him sad, it made him think of what would happen if he didn't come back. He shook his head and went back into the room to Rey.
"Rey.. it's time.." he said, his voice a little shaky. Rey looked up at him as tears streamed down her cheeks. He came forward and hugged her as he lead her away from the twins and made there way towards the door. He winced in his heart every step he took away from the girls but he knew he had too.
Rey and Ben walked in silence down the halls towards the command shuttle. Silence was the best thing for now. They took their seats as the jumped into hyperspace as the other fighters followed.
He hugged Rey closely him, kissing her forehead. Trying to comfort her the best he can.
"Ben.. I love you," she finally said.
"I love you too.." he whispered back.
Heyyy sorry for short chapter.. I plan on giving the battle it's own chapter so so enjoy this whole it lasts lol
