THIRD PERSON:
Ben was walking around the room with Leianna in his arms. She was slightly awake unlike Kira who was fast asleep in Rey's arms at the bed.
It was the next day so Ben was pretty tired, he hasn't slept in at least 56 hours. He ignored the tiredness though, he was mostly fixed on his girls. Ben turned his head towards Rey to see if she was ok, he gave out a little sigh of relief before turning back to Leianna.
Rey was sitting on the bed with Kira, who was fast asleep.
She's probably going to be just like her father, she thought. Rey thought about the times when Ben would come back from a meeting and almost always going straight to there bed.
Rey chuckled at the thought of it.
Just then they heard a knock at the door.
¨Come in!¨ Rey yelled quietly, making sure not to disturb the twins.
Alena, Finn, and Poe came in quietly as well. They have not seen the twins yet or even know that there are two instead of one.
¨Hi Rey where is she at?¨ Alena walked over to Rey all happy and smiley, excited to see one of the newborns.
Rey came forward with Kira in her arms, ¨Right here..¨ she whispered.
¨Oh my god Rey she's gorgeous!¨ Poe exclaimed.
¨I agree as well¨ Finn said.
¨Can I hold her? ¨ Alena asked.
Rey nodded her head as she gently handed her over.
Alena took her in her arms. It was a good thing Kira was fast or else she would of woken up, ¨Hi little one,¨ Alena said quietly to her, ¨it's your aunt Alena.¨
Finn and Poe huddled closer as well, ¨Whats her name?¨ they ask.
¨Kira.. her name is Kira Elaine Skywalker- Solo¨ Rey said proudly.
Rey looked over to see Ben making his way over to them, ¨Hey guys,¨ he said.
¨Hey,¨ Alena, Poe, and Finn said looking at him before turning back there heads to Kira.
It took them awhile to process that Ben was holding another child in his arm.
Poe was the first to look back at him, he looked at him confused, ¨Wait why do you have one?¨ He asked.
Now Finn and Alena both raised there heads to look at him. Alenas eyes widen in surprise, ¨Wait a damn minute!¨
Ben chuckled, ¨Yes we have twins instead of one.¨
¨Holy crap!¨ Finn said a little loud.
Ben made is way closer to them making it easier for them tiny Leianna in Ben's arms. He handed her over to Finn and gently let go of her once she was in his arms.
¨Damn Ben.. she has your hair alright,¨ Poe said sarcastically.
Ben scoffed, ¨Rey's been telling me that all morning.¨
Rey chuckled before leaning her head on his arm as she watched her friends hold Leianna and Kira.
¨So what's her name?¨ They asked.
¨Leianna, ¨Ben said, ¨Leianna Adelaide Skywalker- Solo¨
They nodded their heads surprised at their name pics, ¨Wow.. you guys picked out beautiful names for them.¨
Rey and Ben both chuckled, ¨Thank you.. it took some thinking but we figured it out.¨
Alena then both looked at the girls, looking at there differences before turning her head back up to look at them,
¨So Rey, Ben.. are they identical or no?¨
Rey shook her head, ¨No.. if they were, me and Ben would struggle our entire life trying to figure out who is who.¨
They all laughed together but made sure there not to loud to startle the babies. Alena then handed Kira to Poe. Poe took her gently in his arms.
Rey sighed before getting back in her bed.
¨Rey are you ok?¨ Finn asked.
She nodded her head, ¨Yes Im just tired from everything.. the pregnancy, labor, and other stuff. Do you mind if I fall asleep? I haven't slept in like a couple of days.¨
¨Of course Rey we don't mind.. you've been through a lot, ¨ Finn said. Rey nodded her head before drifting off to sleep.
Ben sighed as well.. tired as ever as well but he ran his hands over his face and sucked it up. Ben came forward and sat at the edge of the bed as he let the gang look at his kids.
¨Hey Ben, we were going to go get lunch but were gonna come back after,¨ Alena said.
Ben nodded his head before taking both of the girls in his arms, ¨ You sure you got them?¨ Poe asked, ¨You look beat.¨
¨Yes I was going to lay them in there bed right now anyway.¨
The all said ok before left the room.
Ben then got up and walked over to there bed and gently laid them down.
Ben then took his chair and put it right next to them. Ben then sat down and gently put his hands next to their faces, gently rubbing their cheeks.
He smiled as he sat the staring at both of them,
¨I promise I'll be there for you. I promise to never leave you behind. I promise I'll take care of you the best I can. Even if I may not be the best at it, just know your loved. Don't be afraid to express your feelings to me. Even if you are, I'm still your father and always will be. Also know I will still love you no matter who you are. I love you no matter what.¨
Ben then came forward and pressed a soft kiss to both of their foreheads before laying down with Rey and falling asleep next to her.
