THIRD POV:
It was a stormy night when Ben and Rey went to sleep. The wind howled on as the trees rocked back and forth. Lightening and thunder boomed across the skies of Naboo. The rain poured down on the castle, making little thuds on the rooftops.
The thunder was so loud at one point, one of the twins woke up.
Kira.
Crying into the night, small tears streamed down her face as she lightly kicked her feet and fumbled her hands into the air.
Ben grumbled in his sleep as he tossed and turned onto his stomach. He opened his eyes sleepily as he lifted his head. He realized then it was one of the girls crying.
He hurriedly got up, half asleep and dizzy, and made is way to her.
He quickly rubbed his eyes as he nelt down and picked her up in his arms and cradled her tightly,
¨Aww hey, hey it's ok.. daddy's here! Nothing's going to happen.. I'm here, I promise.. ¨ Ben softly said to her. Kira's crying died down, but it didn't go away.
He then rocked her on her knees while he pressed soft kisses to her forehead. Ben took her tiny hand in his and held her until she stopped,
¨Shh.. shh.. Its ok.. everything's ok.. I promise, just hold my hand, ¨ He softly said. Tiredness in his eyes and body. He didn't care though, as long she was ok.
Ben then sat down on the bed.. tired. He hadn't had a good nights sleep in so long. He kept holding Kira until she stopped.
Once she did, he looked down at her and saw her wide awake staring at him. She pressed her small hand to his face and laughed a little. Ben smiled as well before kissing her forehead.
Ben got up and started to but her back in her crib, but once he started to, she started to cry again. Ben gave off an annoyed sigh,
¨Alright Kira.. you can sleep in our bed, ¨ Ben brought her back up into his arms once more before retreating to his bed with Rey. Ben gently laid her on his bed, making sure she had a pillow to cover her, before laying down as well.
He laid her hand on her stomach, rubbing it gently to sooth her so she can fall asleep.
Nearly falling to sleep, it wasn't until another cackle of the lightning sending off another pair of tearful cries.
Ben got up immediately and saw it upsetted Leianna. He ran his hands through his face before picking her up.
He looked over at Kira and saw her fidgeting, ¨Oh no no no.. please don't wake up.. please don't wake up.. ¨
He then saw Rey lift he head up, ¨What's wrong?¨ She asked, her voice groggy and tired.
¨Its the twins.. can you take care of Kira? I have this one right now.. she's in the bed next to you,¨ Ben nodded his head toward her before making his focus back to Leianna.
Rey tossed over quickly and saw Kira. She sat up, picked up Kira, and gently laid her on her chest. She rubbed her back as she layed back down. Rey whispered sweet words to her as she was falling back asleep.
Ben smiled at the sight of it before coming over and kissing her forehead. He then came around the bed and layed down on the bed once more. He gently laid Leianna in the middle.
Rey and Ben looked at each other before returning there gaze back to the twins. Rey laid her head back down falling back asleep since Kira finally is now.
Ben sighed before snuggling up to Leianna and falling asleep, whilst still rubbing her..
Yaaa I just wanted to make this quick chapter because why not? lol anyway I hope you enjoyed this.
