Long for the Return (Reylo FanFic)

Chapter 5

I open my eyes to see that I'm in a dark room. I walk around to find anything. After a while, I finally see a light and I sprint towards it. When I finally reach it I see a forest, a beautiful forest. I walk into the forest to hear beautiful birds singing songs. I close my eyes to listen to the sweet melodies of the birds.

"Rey?" A voice echo's. My eyes open in alarm and look around my surroundings with my lightsaber lit. "Rey." I think a moment to recognize who it is. 

"Ben?" I ask. 

"I'm here, I'm here." 

I start walking in different directions to find him. Until, I see him standing in a clearing. My heart skips a beat, "Ben?" I say with tears forming in my eyes. 

He extends his arms towards me as if he's signaling me to come to him. I don't hesitate one second as I bolt into a jog, and then a sprint. 

I extend my arms as I'm just a few feet in front of him. When I try to hug him he turns to dust, I try to turn see his face but all of a sudden I'm falling.

I scream with alarm. When I hit the ground I feel dizzy, but surprisingly, not dead. Look up to see a Ben being electrocuted to death by a tall figure I can't seem to make out. It's... it's Snoke! "No!" I scream. I try moving but I can't, it feels like I've been glued to the ground. 

I look back to see Ben fall to the ground not moving. "No!" I scream, with tears streaming down my face. "Ben!" I Yell, " get up!" 

Snoke looks at me with satisfaction in his eyes. He grins and then laughs. "You thought you can save him, " He says mischievously, " You're wrong. he died with pain and suffering, and so will you." 

Before I know it, the invisible walls crumble, the ground shakes, and I fall to the ground. I look up to see a different figure in front of me. I try to blink the fuzziness from my eyes. When I do, I see a very pale face but still can't make out his face.

Thunder rumbles behind the figure making his face glow. I scream with fear and try to crawl back as I see who it is. 

Its Palpatine, my grandfather. He smiles evilly. "Now you will learn the true meaning of the Dark side. " He extends his hands and shoots lightning at me. Before I can react, they hit me.

I wake with a jolt. I sit up to my heart racing, breathing heavily, and sweat. 

BB-8 comes rolling in fast. Beep- oop? 

"Thanks BB but I'm alright, it was just a dream." 

I hope, I say to myself. He looks at me and tries to say something but gets cut off by the alarms.

"Uh oh, " I say, " we better check out what it is." I sprint to the hanger to see 15 through 20 Tie Fighters. I stand there confused. "How?" I question myself.

Beep- oop- boop! BB-8 says.

"Your right." I say. He said that they could be scavengers from the First Order, seeking for vengeance on the resistance. " How am I supposed to shot and pilot the ship, we'll be killed in minutes?"

"Maybe I can help."
