Chapter 16 Pt. 2

I'm sorry......--^🤣

BEN'S POV:

I raise an eyebrow at Rey, "You named him?" I ask.

She looks at me, "Of course, everyone deserves a name."

She goes back to eating and so do I. I made hash browns with sausage and egg. It's not bad for my first time making. I sneak a glance at Rey to see her almost finishing up. Dakota comes back with the stick. I set down my plate and grab the stick from his mouth and throw it. I never thought I would have a pet, "Once were done eating do you want to take a walk to the lake and go for a swim?" I ask Rey.

She looks at me and smiles, "Sure, but I don't have a bathing suit."

"Well you can use some of my clothing to make a swim suit." I get up and take both of our plates once were done and but them in a trash bag since there plastic plates. Were going to have to leave soon since I'm running low on supplies. "I'm gonna go put on my bathing suit you can play with Dakota while I'm changing." 

I head towards the tent and go inside. 

REY'S POV:

I wait for Ben to change while I play with Dakota. I get up from the log start tugging the stick from his mouth playing tug a war. Who knew dogs were strong? Now that I think about it, I could take him easily but I can't cause do to extra weight in my stomach. Weird.. I haven't had morning sickness. Whatever it is what it is. 

I let go of the stick and he tumbles backwards almost falling on Lady. I laugh. It's possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. 

"I'm done." I turn around to face Ben with his swimming shorts on and a T- shirt on. I look at his hand and see extra clothing, "Here, " He says, "go make your bathing suit I'll stay with Dakota and Lady."

Once I'm inside the tent I look a the clothing's. Two T- shirts and leggings. I think for a second and let my experimenting take over. I take the leggings and cut them short into shorts and slip them on. 'Got one thing done'. I take the one of the remaining leggings and lay it down flat. I grab the other one and cut it in half creating two. I place one of them over the other legging that isn't cut in half. I grab the remaining piece and fold it and place it in the middle. I grab a needle and some thread and sow it in place.

Once I finish, I take off my shirt and put on my top piece of my so called 'bathing suit'. I tie it in a not in the back nice and tight. I look in the mirror to see it come together really good. It folded nice together. I twirl in the mirror to see my stomach. Pretty soon I won't be able to go swimming in awhile. I realize I've been in here long enough so I put on one of Ben's shirt to hide my bathing suit, which the shirt reaches to my thighs, and step out of the tent. 

Once I walk to them I realize Ben but a leash on Dakota and he also has Lady in his arms. Adorable. "Here I'll take her." I say as I take Lady from his arms. 

"Not gonna show me your bathing suit?" 

I kiss his cheek, "You'll have to wait and see, " I say and start walking to the river.

Once we reach the stream (I forgot it was a stream not a river because it's clean running water sry) I put Lady down in the sand and let her do her own thing. Ben already let go of Dakota's leash and threw the stick in the water so he can fetch. Look back down at the sand to see Lady digging a hole. She then sits in it. Uh. Whatever, she must be very comfortable though.

"You coming in?" I look back at Ben to see he's already in the water.

"Yeah just give me a second, " I say. I come towards the water but not towards Ben. I head towards the rocks to the right. I ignore Ben staring at me and strip his shirt off and drop it on the ground. I walk in the water and head towards to the cluster of big rocks. The stream of the current is kind of strong right here so I have to be careful.
