Ladies and gentlemen.. the finale of Long for the Return..

THIRD POV:

Rey looked down on the headstone of the grave that laid in front of her as a single tear ran down her face. Three days had passed since the battle Krzysztof Plonka and it felt like it went by to fast.

Memories rushed in her head as she remembered what had happened. Even though they did win the battle, it still felt like a burden.

A small noise took her attention, like a cooing of a dove, as she looked down at her daughter. Her surviving daughter, Leianna. Rey held her tightly to her chest as she remembered that heart-wrenching day that nearly costed her daughter's life.

*

"Please don't do this!"

"Do it now!"

"No please no-!"

"POW!"

Rey shut her eyes as the blast went off. She then opened her eyes and saw her daughter was.. alive! Not one scratch on her. She then looked at Cult and realized he shot somewhere else.

She turned her attention where his blaster was pointing to and saw Enron standing there, his face in remorse and shock as he looked at Cult. Rey looked down at his chest and saw that the blaster shot hit him in the chest, dead center, blood seeping into his clothes quickly.

As he went to fall to the floor, Rey quickly came forward and caught him as he fell to the ground. Rey looked down at him as she saw fear, and pain in his eyes as he grunted with pain. A tear trickled down his face as he started to cry.

Rey didn't see a lifeless monster anymore.. but saw a man. A man that's mind has been overcome with pain, remorse, and anger. Blinding him. He wasn't evil but wanted a sense of belonging in the world and wanted to have closure. He wanted to be set free from the burden that laid inside of him. It was clear that he was a broken man..

"I.. I'm sorry," Enron whimpered as he more tears streamed down his face, "I just wanted to feel like I.. Like I belong.. I was tired of being in pain.. so I did the thing that I thought.. was right.. yet here I am.. going to die," he grunted as he took hold of Rey's hand.

Rey nodded her head as a few tears streamed down her face as well. 'Not all villains are evil.. most of them were broken..' she reminded herself as she held onto his hand tightly, "I forgive you.." she whispered, "you can rest now.."

"Thank you.." Enron gave her a sad smiled before he nodded his head. His eyes glazed up at the ceiling of the temple until his final breath drew.. and he was gone..

*

Rey opened her eyes as the memory went away and looked back down at Enron's grave they put for him in a small private garden of the castle.

"Rey.."

Rey turned around at the sound of her name and saw Ben walking towards her in a striking outfit. He was carrying Kira in his arms as he gave a loving, heartwarming smile to her as he held out his hand for her. Asking for her to accompany him.

Rey took his hand gradually as they walked out of the garden together. Happiness flooding through them as the birds sang on and the wind flying by.

Not far from them, Luke, Leia, and Anakin watched proudly as they saw peace within the young souls. They knew this was a new beginning for them, and it would finally live on peacefully..

The end..

So ya.. this is the end of this book. I honestly had so much fun writing this and I just want to thank you guys so much for the comments and support in this book! I honestly wouldn't have done this without you guys.

I specifically want to thank @Loca_Girl for helping me write this book, I honestly wouldn't have done it without her.

Even though this is the end, I will be writing an epilogue, a long epilogue. It will be telling what happens to Rey and Ben and their children in the future and I honestly can't wait to write it and finally complete this book.

Once again, thank you guys so much and I hope you guys have a wonderful day!!

In a galaxy far, far, away,
     -Kira<3
