Chapter 26

REY'S POV:

After I'd seen Ben defeat his fear, I couldn't help but think about how he was free from this place. Able to finally to be with me and able to finally do stuff he's been wanting to do that he was never able to when he was younger.

My heart swelled with joy as I saw him laugh. A single tear came down my face as he saw his parents.

As we exited the cave, we stood on an open plain covered with snow. I see a X-wing a little to the right. Poe begins walking towards it, but I stop him.

"Poe we brought the falcon, you don't need that ship anymore."

"I know but Artoo is over there and I can't just leave my ship."

"Oh.. well maybe you can follow us when we leave."

He nods his head, "Alright I'll follow you, I'ma go get my ship ready."

He leaves and me and Ben go towards the falcon with Finn following us. As we reach the falcon, I see BB-8 come down the ramp. I let go of Ben's hand and run towards him.

"Hi BB! I'm back!"

"Oh Rey finally! I missed you! Did you find Ben and how's the baby?"

I laugh as I kneel down to pet his little head, "Yes BB I found Ben, and look! " I point at my stomach, "I'm almost four months pregnant."

"Oh wow! Rey we should go inside because its starting to snow."

"Oh alright, " I get back and walk inside with Ben close behind. I close the ramp and sit down at the table. I sigh with relief. I'm glad I'm back in my ship. I look back at Ben to see him walk around slowly with a sad but happy expression. I get up and walk next to him while rubbing his back.

"Hey.. you ok?"

"Uh? Oh ya ya.. It's just I thought I'll never be back in my father's ship again."

I give him a small smile and go to the cockpit. Sit in the chair and radio Poe.

"Poe you ready?"

I wait a few seconds, "Yup ready! Where to?"

Ben was about to say something but I cut him off, "Wait a second Poe, I actually want to pick up a friend."

"Oh all right, I'll wait for your orders." He hangs up as well as I do.

I get up from my seat and go through my stuff in one of the cabinets. Nope not in that one. Nope not in this one ei- Yes here it is!

I press on the communicator and head back to the pilots seat.

"Alena can you hear me? Alena?"

Nothing, I try again.

"Alena? Its Rey can you hear me?"

I sit back down and Ben looks at me confused. He about to say something smart, I can see it on his face. I hold up my finger at him. I try the com again.

"Alena? Alena?! It's Rey, can you hear me?"

There's a buzzing sound at the other end. 

"R-Rey? Is it really you?"

"Yes hi Alena!"

"Hi! What's wrong why are you calling me?"

"Nothing, its just I wanted to ask you something."

"Oh then ask away."

"I actually wanted to speak in person. Are you on your planet, or somewhere else?"
