Long for the Return (Reylo FanFic)

Chapter 6

I turn around to see Ben. "Ben, thank god your here!" I smile in relief. He's standing in front of the entrance of the hanger. I walk over to him and he smiles to my presence. "Can you shoot?" 

"Can you fly?" He answers back. 

"Har- har very funny." 

He laughs, "Don't worry, I can shoot." I look at him and he looks at me. We stare into each others eyes just admiring each others features. 

We're interrupted by a loud bang. BB-8 beeps in alarm. Before I can tell Ben to go , he takes off running to the gunner position. I quickly climb into the pilots seat and quickly start flying away as much as possible. Blaster hits the ship again making it shake. 

" What the hell are you doing back there?!" I yell, " are you going to let us die or are going to fight back?!" 

"I'm working on it!" He yells. 

"BB-8 what is the nearest planet from where we are." I ask keeping my eyes ahead. I turn quickly from a tie fighter that was going straight towards us. I hear shots being fired from the ship and see the tie fighter being destroyed. "Nice shot!" I yell at Ben. 

"Thanks." He answers back. 

Beep oop!

 "Where in the heck is that! And what type of planet is it?!" I ask BB-8. 

"What planet is it?" Ben asks. 

"It's a planet called Kashyyk!" I yell at him, "is it a safe place?" 

"I'll tell you on the way over there," He yells, "put in the coordinates and lets get the hell out of here.!" 

I steer the ship as much as I can away from the tie fighters and yell at BB-8 to put in the coordinates. "Is hyperspace ready?" I ask him. 

Beep!

 Another blast hits the ship making it shake. "PUNCH IT!" I yell at him. And he does.

Ben comes in. I put the falcon in autopilot. I look at him after, "I hope there not tracking us." I tell him. 

"They won't, " he says, "only person smart enough to do that was Hux." 

I sigh with relief. 

"Good thing he died on that ship." He mumbles. 

I roll my eyes at him, "You do realize Hux was the spy that helped the resistance survive." I looks at me with a blank expression with flushed cheeks. 

After like a minute he says something, "Oh... that's," He thinks for a second, "Good." 

I snort, "You are adorable when your clueless." He was a about to say something but I walk around the falcon to find where it was hit at.

While I was working on the second damage BB-8 rolls next to me. 

Beep- boop.

 "Wow that fast already!" I say. 

Beep.

 I giggle, "Ya I guess BB." I walk over to the hanger and sit in the pilots seat. As the falcon comes out of hyperspace, I couldn't help but admire the green and blue planet. "It's pretty BB."  

As we land on the planet, I couldn't help but be amazed by the huge magnificent trees. " There huge BB!" He beeps back in response. I walk toward the trees and see that there's old buildings, ships, and longbow-looking guns. "BB-8, what is this place?" I ask, "And what happened?" I ask him. 

He answers my question by telling that this is where all the Wookiee's lived. The planet is called Kashyyk. During the head of the of the 'Clone Wars', the wookiees helped the resistance fight the Separatists off their home planet. They were helped by the Jedi Master, Yoda. The climactic battle was taken place, ending Order 66. People believed that Darth Vader destroyed the wookiee villages in search of the force adept Starkiller. They also said that the planet was under an Imperial occupation and slave trade operations. 

"Woah, thanks for the information BB." 

Beep! 

"Anyway, BB do you mind checking on the falcon? I'm going to look around and explore." BB doesn't answer back just rolls away. 

I think I tired him out with all that information he gave me, I thought. 

I walk around a forest a little bit till I'm standing in front of a ginormous tree. Part of me wants to climb but another wants me to explore more of the forest. "Why not." I tell myself. 

As I climb I feel energy going through my body. It feels amazing. "Oof," I grunt, "haven't done this in a long time." I tell myself. 

As I reach the top, I'm standing on a platform. The air is cool up here sending chills down my spine. But I don't mind. I get a clear view of the ocean. It calms me. The beautiful waves crashing against the sand. 

I find a spot on the ground facing the calming ocean. I sit down with legs crossed and my arms resting on my legs. I close my eyes trying to concentrate. As I finally do my, I feel a presence. At first I think it's Ben, but I was completely wrong.

"Mom?"
