Peng's P.O.V.

It's a beautiful morning in the big apple and since I didn't have to go to work today, I decided to spend the day with myself to go explore the city. It feels like I haven't seen everything so if I see something, i'll either record it or take a picture with my camera.

Vlogging is one of my hobbies. I don't upload them on YouTube or other social media platforms but I like to make them just for fun as video diaries. Plus, it's more about the memories. No matter where I go, I always have to capture every thing, even if it's small or not much.

Then, I like go home and edit them when I have time do so and keep them on my hard drive.

As I was looking around to find something to record or take a picture of, there was small french bakery in a corner. The outside was white and gold with a pastel pink and white tent that was hanging on top of the door along with different variations of flowers in all different kinds of colors like a rainbow pinned on the tent.

"Interesting." I said to myself.

Suddenly, my stomach began to growl a bit. Well..looks like I'm hungry. Might as well go in. While turning on my camera to start the recording, I looked through the window and someone caught my eye.

She had long brown straight hair that could be down to her waist. She was grabbing her white mug and put it on her lips to take a sip. Then, she placed it back down and looked at the side. My eyes widened when I saw what she really looked like.

"No way." I said to myself in disbelief.

I walked inside the cafe quickly and looked to my right. Then, I decided to take a seat next to her. She ended up sketching something on her sketchbook and had a few macaroons on the side.

"Whatcha drawing?" I asked.

She looked my way quickly and jumped up a little. "Oh my god, you almost gave me a heart attack." Delaney said while placing one of her hands over her heart. I let out a small chuckle and placed my camera on the table.

"What are you doing here?" She asked softly.

"I was already out but I got hungry and saw this place. And  I noticed you and just wanted to come stop by and said hi as well." I answered. She placed her pencil down and looked back at me. "Awe that's nice of you. How's everything? Are you settling in just fine?" She asked.

"Yes, I'm still looking around in the area so that I could get to know where I am a little bit more, you know?" I replied and looked at the menu after.

There are so many options, it's a little hard to choose. What sounds good right now, a pastry or a croissant sandwhich? Hm.

"How's your hand?" I asked her.

"It's fine now thanks for asking! It healed up pretty quickly." She said while looking at her hand.

"Awesome." I smiled.

She picked up her pencil and continued to draw. It looked like she was sketching a cardinal bird flying. Her talent is beautiful. It was so detailed yet, it made it look very realistic. She also had some flowers and flower petals falling off the small branches.

"I didn't know that you were this good." I said as I watched her.

"Thanks, I get better everytime." She chuckled softly.

"Is there a meaning behind this sketch?" I asked out of curiosity.

She stopped sketching and placed her pencil back down. Then, she looked through the window and let out a small sigh. Should I not have asked her that? The last thing I want to do is make her angry or uncomfortable.
