"Okay Brea, today is going to be a better day. You are going to come up with creative ideas for your script and continue to have a positive mindset." I said to myself in my head while taking a jog.Today is my day off from the office, but I still wanted work on my writing. It is my passion and it's something that makes me feel good about myself.
It helps me escape from reality and it feels like I'm like creating a world with my imagination without other people's opinions getting in my way most of the time. Therapeutic if you ask me.
Anyway, I made it back to my apartment and stopped jogging. Then, I put my arms up to catch my breath for a couple of seconds. After that, I went upstairs to go back inside. When I made it inside, I fixed myself a cup of water.
Usually, a nice jog early in the morning helps me wake up and feel energized for the rest of the day. Plus, it keeps me fit as well. After drinking some of my water, I went to my room to go grab my robe to go take a nice warm shower.
Twenty minutes later, I finished taking that amazing shower and got dressed. I decided to wear a grey knitted sweater, black tights, and white low top vans. After getting dressed, I decided to call Kelvin to see what he was up to.
I took my phone off the charger and flopped on my bed to call him.
The Call:
Kelvin: Hello?
Brea: Good morningg!
Kelvin: Hey you!
Brea: How are you?
Kelvin: Better now that you called.
Brea: Awe!
Kelvin: What are you up to?
Brea: I just got out the shower and I'm about to head to Meraki to work on my script.Kelvin: Oh okay that sounds cool.
Brea: Yeah..what about you?
Kelvin: I just made it to my basketball practice.Brea: Ah okay then! I'll talk to you later?
Kelvin: Yeah! When I'm done with practice, I'll come spend some time with you. We can order your favorite food and binge watch movies.
Brea: I am so down.
Kelvin: Good..I'll see you soon Bre, love you.Brea: Love you more!
I hung up the call and got up from my bed to make my way to Meraki. Hopefully I can have some type of inspiration from there to help me write.
*********
There wasn't a lot of people here today which made things better for me because it would be more peaceful.
"I'll have one medium sized iced caramel latte with a cheese croissant please." I ordered.
The waitress took my order and placed it in. "Okay, that'll be six fifty-nine." She said. I handed her my debit card to pay for it. When she swiped it on the cash register, she gave it back to me with the receipt.
"Thank you!" I told her with a smile. I walked away to take a seat and I looked at my receipt without paying attention. All of a sudden, I bumped into someone and felt their coffee spill on me.
The coffee was a little hot and it was all over my clothes and my shoes. My facial expression had changed immediately because of it. So, I looked up to see who it was to give that person a piece of my mind.
"Are you kidding me right now?!" I was annoyed. There was a tall man, had flawless fair skin, dark brown monolid eyes that reminded me of a dragon, and dark hair slicked back with a piece of hair hanging out in the front. He was handsome. Really handsome. But my eyes were on someone else.
"I'm sorry." he said with no emotion.
"Oh great, I just bought this sweater too!" I said to myself.
"Well that's not my problem. You should've watched where you were going." He said frankly.
