Brea's P.O.V.

All of us were at the dining table eating the rice bowls that Tai made for us. He never disappoints me when it comes to his cooking. The beef bulgogi had so much flavor. It was a sweet and savory taste that was the juicy and tender which are two things that got well together.

Along with the rice and vegetables, everything was balanced.

"Oh man, you guys don't understand how much I missed this." Peng said.

"Awe, you missed us?" Delaney asked while feeling flattered.

"I'm talking about the food. I see y'all all the time." He scoffed.

Delaney rolled her eyes and I laughed a little bit. We shouldn't be surprised with his response though. He treats food as if he's married to it.

"Of course I miss spending time with you all. The last time we really got together was..wait when was the last time we all hung out?" Peng had to question himself.

"It was when we all went bowling a few months ago." Tai responded.

"There's no way that it's been THAT long." Peng replied.

Yeah he has a point. We went bowling when Tai and I started to get to know each other a bit more.

"I'm pretty sure it was when we were helping you move in." I responded.

Everyone came to a realization and agreed.

"Ah that's right. You see, I can always count on Brea. At least she remembers when we last hung out. Some friends y'all are." Peng scoffed jokingly.

"Oh please, you didn't even remember it yourself." Delaney scolded.

Peng squinted his eyes at her and sat all way back on his chair with his arms crossed.

"Toúche." He replied with a nod.

All of us laughed a bit and most of us were about done with our food.

"Y'all thirsty?" Peng asked as he got up from his chair.

"You're the worst host I know. What kind of person doesn't offer their guests drinks as soon as they got their food?!" Tai scolded.

"Well in my defense, you aren't Jennie from Blackpink. What do I look like to you, your mother?!" Peng argued and opened his fridge.

"But I'm your best friend!" Tai yelled.

Peng closed the fridge door with his knee.

"Okay and as my best friend, you get your ass up and get your own drink you nitwit! Anyways ladies, what would you like? I have soju!" Peng offered as she showed us a few bottles in his hand.

These two are something else.

"You got strawberry Peng?" Delaney asked.

Her eyes lit up when once he mentioned that drink.

"Yes I do!" He looked at his bottles to see if he had the flavor.

Peng walked back to the table and placed the bottles down on it.

"Yes!" Delaney said to herself.

"Um Peng, do you have any other options? I'm trying to stay away from alcohol." I said sheepishly.

We all know how I can get with alcohol and I am not trying to act out on this perfect night. So far, it's almost been a month since I've been away from it.

"Oh yeah that's right. I'm so sorry! I have-"

"I'll get it for her." Tai cut Peng off and got up.

The whole room got silent. Then Delaney and Peng started to make ouing noises.
