Brea's P.O.V.

Today was my day off and I decided to help out Delaney in her art studio. We finished an art show today and she decided to close her shop for the day. She was hanging up her new paintings on her wall and I was sweeping the floor.

It's been a few days since I last saw and heard from Tai ever since we gotten into that argument. I was very disappointed in him. He never apologized to me. It upsets me when someone can't own up to their mistakes. Does he think that he can get away with this by not saying anything?

Thinking about it makes my blood boil, but I try my best to not let it get to me.  It's challenging though thanks thanks to my stubbornness. That whole day just made me want to punch a wall. He never treated me that badly before and it still confuses me on why he was acting like that towards me. I took a deep breath to calm myself down and continued to sweep.

Suddenly, I heard the bell ring because someone come from the the front door. "I'm sorry, but we are closed." I announced while finishing up the floor. After I swept up the dirt and dust in the dustpan, I dumped in in the garbage.

"That's a bummer." A male voice said.

My body froze. I recognized that deep voice anywhere. Why is he here? At this hour? Out of all days, why today? I turned around and my intuition was right. It was him, standing there in his black nike hoodie and denim jeans. He was wearing his glasses today.

"What are you doing here?" I was annoyed.

He moved away from the spot that he was standing at and observe the paintings that Delaney just hung up. "Hello?!" I scoffed. Am I speaking a foreign language? All I asked was a simple question.

"I'm just here to take a look at some of her paintings and maybe buy one of them." He answered. Is he for real right now? Is that all he has to say? I placed the broom down and walked up to him.

He doesn't deserve to look at her paintings if he ain't gonna apologize to me. "Did you not hear me when you first walked in? We are closed so get out!" I demanded.

"Brea, don't be rude to the customer and show him around!" Delaney said.

I looked my way at her and gave her an aloof look. Did she forget about what I told her a few days ago? "You have got to be kidding me." I said out loud. I turned back around and rolled my eyes.

Tai was snickering and was trying to hide his laughter. Then, I turned back around to Delaney and she turned around to hold her laughter in. "Hey, what's so funny?!" I scolded. Tai stopped at continued to look at the paintings.

Something is up and I didn't like that. I pushed Tai a little to get his attention. "What's going on?" I asked. He looked at me deep into my eyes and turned his body towards me. "Come with me." He demanded.

Huh?

"Come with you...come with you?! Is that all you have to say?" I was aggravated. He is acting like nothing has happened and it was starting to piss me off. "It's a surprise." He smirked. A freaking surprise my butt. He needs to leave or else he'll release a different side of me that I wish to not use.

"Brea, you should go with him! You won't regret it." Delaney added. I turned around to look at her. "So now you're encouraging him? Are you my best friend or not?!" I facepalmed. I had the urge to just walk out and leave. My patience wasn't lasting.
