"Brea..let's go out." He confessed.

I almost chocked on my spit from  what he just said. Is he..doing what I think he's doing? How do I even react to this? Why is asking me this so suddenly?

"Are you..asking me out on a..date?" I questioned.

He had a confused look on his and backed up a little. "I'm only asking to go out as friends." He said bluntly. A piece of glass shattered into pieces. Both of us just stood there in silence, awkwardly. Argh, why do I have to make things weird?! This happens way too much.

"Let's go." He demanded and grabbed my arm. He dragged me out of my own home and lead me to him. "Wait Tai!" I tried to stop him. He still didn't let me go nor respond. We were both still walking. "TAI!" I yelled. He stopped and turned around quickly.

"What?" He asked.

"Look at me!" I raised my voice a bit. He noticed it quickly and let me go. He looked down and rubbed his neck. "Oh um..my bad?" He chuckled sheepishly and rubbed his neck. I rolled my eyes and both of us walked back to my apartment.

When we both made it back inside the apartment, Delaney was sitting on the couch drinking her tea and froze when she noticed us.

"Oh damn, did I interrupt something?" Tai asked.

"What do you think?" I asked him.

Delaney placed her tea cup on our coffee table and looked back.

"Yeah we were in the middle of something Tai, but I'll let you kidnap her for the night." She said.

"What, this is girl's night!" I said with confusion. "We can have another without interruptions this time." She said. I pouted at her and she got up from the couch. "Girl, don't worry! We pretty much did everything anyway." She insisted.

True, but still. We were spending time with each other and it felt like we haven't. Plus I didn't want her to be alone. I walked upstairs slowly and turned back around to her. "Brea go already!" She said. "Okay okay fine." I replied and walked upstairs.

                Delaney's P.O.V.

As I watched her go upstairs to her room, I made sure that her door was closed. Once it was, I turned back to Tai quickly. "Do you think this would work?" He lowered his voice.

"Yeah I don't see anything going wrong but..why did you lie to her? I know you wanted this to be a date." I squinted my eyes at him with my arms crossed. Wasn't this all part of the plan?

"Yeah it's a friend date. Just two friends..hanging out." He said in denial.

This man is playing. I almost facepalmed but then I realized that I'm still wearing a face mask. Is this what Peng has to put up with as well? Everyone knows that he has the biggest crush on Brea.

He can't fool us, even if he thinks he could. Brea better not be oblivious about this. It's pretty obvious that he wants her. But knowing how she is, she would usually catch on things quickly, but won't say anything about it soon. "You and Brea are delusional." I said and shook my head.

Just then, I heard the room door open and Brea walked downstairs with her final look. She had her curls down, wore a black short body con dress, and her black and white converse platforms. She decided to wear her glasses tonight as well.

"Awe, you look so cute!" I cheered.

She did a twirl and posed. Both of us had laughed. Brea came a little closer and ended up standing next to Tai who seemed to be scanning her from head to toe. This was a perfect moment to squeal but I couldn't do that just yet.
