•prologue•

Brea's P.O.V.

Massive crowds were surrounded in front of the building. Camera lights were flashing. People were all dressed up looking fancy and pleasant. Tonight is supposed to be a special night for me.

"Are you ready Ms. Jones?" My security guard asked me.

We were in a limo and I was all dressed up myself feeling very confident and thrilled."Yes." I said calmly and had the biggest smile on my face.

He got out of the limo and walked on the other side of it to open the door for me.

Before I got out, I took a deep breath to calm my nerves. After that, he opened the door for me and everyone was cheering for me.

The paparazzi were taking pictures of me and my security guard held out his hand to help me get out of the vehicle.

I walked beside him and took my first step on the red carpet. When I heard people yell my name, I waved at them with a smile on my face and gave some people my autograph. After that, I heard a few interviewers call my name.

"Brea Rae Jones! How does it feel to have your first premiere for your new tv series vicious?" She asked me.

"It feels like a dream! I can't believe I made it this far and I'm so proud of myself for this huge. accomplishment! Hopefully, everyone will enjoy the pilot and would want to watch more of it as more come out." I answered.

"That's great! I can't wait to watch it myself and you look lovely tonight!" She complimented me. "Thank you! Fashion Nova really came through." I told her. She laughed. "Oh Brea, you are too funny. I'll see you soon!" She said.

"Bye, enjoy the show!" I said with a smile and walked away. While walking towards the theatre, I suddenly heard a ringing noise. The sound grew louder and louder.

"What is that awful sound?" I asked my security guard while covering one of my ears.

I opened my eyes and turned off my alarm. Great. It was just another dream. But this one felt so real. Why must the good dreams always have to happen when I can't sleep in?

As I rubbed my eyes I looked at my boyfriend Kelvin, who was beside me sleeping peacefully like a baby. I smiled at him and looked at my alarm clock to check the time.

When I looked at the time, my eyes widened. It was nine-thirty in the morning and I was an hour late for work.

"Oh crap!" I said as I got up quickly but ended up falling off my bed.

"No no no no no! My boss is going to kill me!" I said to myself as I panicked a little.

I got up quickly and ran to the closet to go grab my outfit for work. "Babe, why are you rushing? It's only seven in the morning." Kelvin said in the background.

"You think I would be like this at seven in the morning?!" I asked. After grabbing my clothes, I looked at him and he was sitting up. He checked the time on his phone and widened his eyes as well.

"Fair point. You know what, I'm gonna go make you some breakfast." He said as he go up and went downstairs.

"Thanks, babe." I said. While he went downstairs, I rushed to the bathroom to go brush my teeth, take a shower, wash my face, and do my hair. This morning was just turning out perfect. We love this..so much!

After getting ready, I ran downstairs and rushed to the kitchen. Kelvin placed my breakfast and coffee on the kitchen island for me. "Thank you so much love!" I said to him.
