Beauty huh,
I was told once I had lovely eyes. The vision's still good but being color blind doesn't help. When I was young they told me I was going to be a big man. Now I'm jealous of everyone else's height.
A radiologist once said I had strong, broad shoulders. Yet, they are out of proportion when you're not that tall. Try sleeping on your side and waking up with your whole arm feeling dead! Women always commented on my lovely soft hair, as they ran their fingers through it. Now, my wife has to tip-toe through the few strands left.
I was told once I had a nice nose, you could say, Romanesque. After a bad accident, I lost my sense of smell. Ah yes, the six-pack that adorned my abdominal region when I was younger. I was often asked if I worked out, and lifted weights. The keg that I'm carrying now would suggest otherwise.
I have small hands, and I've been told I'd make a good gynecologist! Maybe, the one good thing I've kept is my sense of humor.
Dwelling on the past and the things you've lost is a conditioned way to exist. Live in the moment. Experience all it has to offer. Embrace each new opportunity that presents itself.
Everyone has a special gift, talent, or unique quality, so be thankful for what you have and can give to others.
The gift of a smile and the receiving of one in return is the most beautiful thing there is!
