Racism, Xenophobia, Discrimination,
Prejudice, Sexism, all dirty words,
They can be found throughout history,
Written on signs, posted on billboards!

I don't understand the way people are,
So ignorant, so unaccepting, so cruel,
Why they can't all be inclusive,
Instead of using difference as hatred fuel!

They say television corrupts the young,
But it opened up a larger world I find,
I never distinguished other races or creeds,
Because you see, I am Colour Blind!

I too have put up with hatred in the past,
Six years of feeling like I had been cursed,
Never reprimanded for their behavior,
Needless to say, I was not their first!

So whatever your sexual orientation,
Or if you're just feeling confused,
Shouldn't lead to denying yourself,
Or condemn you to a life of being abused!

And least not forget cyberbullying,
Words, the strongest weapon of all,
Physical injuries will heal in time,
But words will cut each time you recall!

I am sorry if I left anyone out,
I apologize if my words offend,
I just wish we could all accept and include,
And all the Broken Bonds would Mend!
