What if you could go back in time?
And do it all over again,
Why would you do it?
What would you obtain?

Just to go back to your own past,
Be, more careful with those falls,
Not annoying your dog, getting bit,
And then kicking him in the balls!

Doing much better at school,
Not playing truant and such,
Maybe studying a bit more,
And not daydreaming so much!

Cycling home from work that night,
I'd wear a helmet, slow down instead,
Of going so fast, crashing, hospital,
Out cold, two weeks, injured head!

Maybe I would change, myself,
Become more edgy, just for fun,
Stop always being Mr. Sensitive,
Be a Bad Guy, not just dress like one!

Then I might not have got married,
To the love of my life,
She was also my best friend,
And now my beautiful wife!

I would not have my three children,
I would not have our united home,
I might have a better job, though,
Then I wouldn't be writing this poem!

Maybe I'm better off where I am,
Life's troubles, yeah they might sting,
But if I did get a second chance,
For most parts, I wouldn't change a thing!
