You think, when you look in a mirror,
It's just your reflection looking back,
An opposite image of you,
But what if it's not, what if it's not?

A mirror could be a window,
To an alternate dimension,
An aperture to a parallel universe,
Showing a surrogate you.

What if it's like quantum physics,
We could be sharing the same time,
But not necessarily the same space,
A paradoxical outcome if we did!

The concept of a wormhole,
An Einstein-Rosen Bridge,
A doorway to another place,
Anything's possible when you, reflect.

Or is it just a mirror image,
A lifeless impression of you,
Or are you the despondent effigy,
Oblivious of the one true other.

In hindsight don't think about it too much,
But we are not, alone in this void,
Unless you want to entertain the spiritual,
The image could be an echo of your soul!
