We are taught to fight from birth,
To destroy, to injure, to kill.
Just for fun, without consequence,
Without morals or emotion.

From miniature cars to guns,
Hammers to build up or break down.
Destruction, always in the background,
Waiting, biding it's time.

For does who do, decide to enlist,
Fully trained and licensed to kill.
Not like a fictional double O agent,
But just to kill, to win, period.

Then in the heat of battle,
It's man against man,
Country against Country,
Brother against brother.

And for what?
Governments get rich,
Politicians get fat,
People get dead!

There is no honour in genocide.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
But the earth is our greatest friend,
And she will also be our greatest defeat.

There may be some who remember how we die,
But who will remember how we lived?
