"And what did your father say?" Joy asked the morning after, as she stood next to Jennie. Jennie was telling yesterday's events to Joy, right before their biology quiz. Joy was shocked that Jennie's parents invited Jungkook for dinner.
Both girls wore contrasting outfits this morning. Joy had black pants with a navy blue blouse, with a leather jacket, while Jennie had a navy blue skirt, a black blouse and with a similar leather jacket. Joy brought two of them over the summer, so she could share something with Jennie.
"He was all like 'You better take responsibility for your actions and make sure my daughter doesn't get caught because of your mistakes'." Jennie impersonated her father and Joy laughed out loud. Typical Uncle Hyunbin.
Lisa walked towards her locker, opened it, not wanting to make eye contact with Jennie. Joy looked at her and made a gagging noise to Lisa, which made Jennie laugh. "This school keeps getting worse." Joy whispered and Jennie giggled.
"I know right. It's like they don't care anymore if their reputation gets worse." Jennie joked and Lisa sighed out, while taking her book out of the locker. She was in a bad mood, since her father didn't show up again. The last thing she needs is to get in a fight with Jennie in the morning.
"Can't you guys just ignore I'm here and continue your boring conversation? Or am I distracting you?" Lisa asked looking at Jennie. Jennie held a strong grip on her locker door, closing it with full force. Provoking Jennie was becoming an amusement for Lisa.
"She's right. We shouldn't worry about someone as irrelevant as her." Joy responded and dragged Jennie away from the lockers. Jennie had to find a way to show Lisa who ruled the school. If anything, Lisa should be scared to even speak up to Jennie. Maybe the queen bee was going to easy on her.
"She is repulsing. I mean, how can anyone be attracted to that? Besides, she thinks she is someone important to talk to you like that, than she is wrong. What are you going to do about her?" Joy asked as the two girls walked towards their biology class.
Jennie didn't want to do anything to Lisa, she never had to get her hands dirty. But she didn't have a choice, because Lisa was provoking her. It even seems as if she is seducing Jennie, wanting to trigger a certain feeling, unknown to Jennie. Getting Lisa to stop being so cocky would be Jennie's best accomplishment.
"I don't know yet." Jennie answered and wondered around looking for Sana and Irene. They always seemed to be somewhere else. "Where are dumb and dumber at?" Jennie asked and Joy looked around as well.
"They are not here...Where's Jungkook?" Joy questioned Jennie, and the latter rolled her eyes at her friend, knowing what she was implying.
"He arrived early for soccer practice. I think Irene and Sana are pushing their limits." Jennie commented and walked inside the classroom.
She stopped in the middle of the entrance when she noticed Irene and Sana studying together. They truly wanted to pass this quiz. Only when Jennie saw the two of them that she noticed there were other students in the room as well.
Ms Tiffany gives some of the hardest quizzes the school has ever seen. She doesn't play around and her students are known for getting the best grades in the whole school. She has been teacher of the month 7 times last year and this year she is on her way to break her own record. Jennie probably underestimated the situation.
"Wow, I feel like taking out my book and studying right now." Joy whispered and Jennie nodded at her.
Both girls heard a cough behind them and turned around to face the person standing outside the classroom. "Some of us actually wanna get into class." Lisa told them and Joy rolled her eyes and stepped aside. Jennie didn't move an inch and turned her back on Lisa.
