39: Fight! Fight!

"Can you stop being an asshole just once in your life?" Lisa said as she was leaving the classroom. She had the math homework on her hands and was reviewing it, thinking of the answers right away. Seulgi took the paper away from her hand and read it.

"I bet you will get them all wrong, loser." She said and Lisa took the paper back. She walked towards her locker and as she was opening the door, she watched Seulgi follow Irene towards her locker. The two were talking and Irene was laughing and actually participating in the conversation. Usually, when anyone interested in Irene talks to her, after everything that happened with Jackson, she wouldn't respond and would just ignore them.

"I think Mr Jimin was hoping to talk to you after class. You should go." Lisa heard Irene say to Seulgi and they both watched him rush back to class to talk to Mr Jimin. Lisa crossed her arms and positioned on Irene's side, facing her.

"Why are you talking to her so much?" Lisa questioned her and Irene snorted at Lisa. "Seulgi is not a good person. She isn't the devil himself, but she is a very good replacement. You should be careful with her."

"Lisa, are you the fuckgirls expert now?" Irene teased nudging Lisa on the arm. "Don't worry, I'm just having some fun with her. She is funny. I wouldn't need to be with her if Jennie bothered to show up to school to stop me from having another relationship. But lately she has been avoiding school like it is a big disease."

Lisa wanted to tell Irene the truth and tell her that Jennie has seemed to have given up on education all together, in hopes that the school will give up on her as well. But Lisa didn't think it was her place to make such comments. "Just remember to be careful with her. She seems to bite." Lisa joked, making Irene shake her head.

"I even heard she is dating Chahee, that is why we haven't seen Jennie around." Lisa heard a couple of girls talk about Jennie, from the other side of the hallway. They were gossiping while hanging out by their lockers and taking out their books. Irene heard it too and looked at Lisa watching her reaction.

Lisa was still and very attentive, trying to listen to what they were saying. Irene looked at the girls gossiping and hissed at them. "Can you stop talking shit? That's supposed to come out of your assholes and not your mouths. Move along." Irene yelled at them and the girls rolled their eyes and walked away, still talking about the gossip.

"I know they were saying that on purpose. Jennie wouldn't be dating Chahee." Lisa said to Irene, trying to assure Irene that the rumors were untrue, but in reality, she was trying to assure herself. She didn't want to hear it from other people, but actually hear it from Jennie herself.

"You know, even if it's true, Jennie doesn't owe you anything and if she tells you, then you should consider yourself lucky. But for now, just ignore those girls." Irene spoke to Lisa and patter her back smoothly, to give her some comfort. "Let's go to class. Ugh. I can't wait until I don't need to take French class anymore."

"Hey, have you guys heard about Jennie and Chahee?" Sana asked, as all of them were hanging out by the school yard. They were sat on the grass, since they had a study period, and Irene was eating some of the cookies prepared by Amelia. She noticed that lately she has been eating these cookies, as a way to calm her nerves down.

"Really, Sana? You wanna gossip about that?" Joy questioned Sana, who nodded her head innocently. Joy has heard of the rumours as well, but since Jennie never told her anything, she didn't want to listen to them or believe them. Everyone was just worried about Lisa, since she hasn't fully moved on from Jennie.
