"What are you doing? Where are we? Why can't I see it? I thought we were going to have dinner? Why are you blocking my eyes?" Jennie questioned, as Lisa placed her hands over Jennie's eyes, to block her from ruining the surprise, by seeing Lisa's apartment before the right time.
Lisa knew it was time to introduce her home to Jennie, who was basically her real home; especially in a day like today. Lisa had a whole surprise event planned but she didn't want Jennie's curiosity to get the best of it.
"Just relax, my love, we are almost there." Lisa teased as she opened the door with her foot, since she had asked the maid to not lock the door. When her maid saw Lisa walking in with her hands around Jennie's head, she knew that was the sign to finish setting up the table and turn off the lights.
"Where are we going?" Jennie kept asking and she was ready to start cursing Lisa out, because she has been blinded by Lisa ever since she stepped out of the car, which was parked in front of Lisa's building. All Jennie wanted to do was rush upstairs and have Lisa all by herself, but now her plans have been ruined with Lisa's dramatic surprise.
"One second. Keep your eyes closed." Lisa said to Jennie and removed her hands from Jennie's face. She ran towards the dinning area and waited there. She knew that Jennie wouldn't resist and she would open her eyes and look for Lisa. They might have been away from each other for the past 6 years, but Lisa still knew a lot about Jennie's personality.
And she was right.
Jennie opened her left eye first and noticed the dark room. She then opened her right one and a panic in her started. Where the hell is Lisa?, Jennie asked herself, praying that Lisa wouldn't jump out of a cake or anything similar. Jennie won't be able to deal with surprises like that. She will freak out and run for her life.
She started looking and she went into the living room first. "Lisa. Lisa!" She whispered in a yelling tone, hoping to hear Lisa's response. Since there was no reply, Jennie left the living room and decided to skip the kitchen and go straight to the dinning area, because she could smell roasted chicken and her stomach was hungry as hell. Even through the dark, she could find the right direction towards the food. She walked swiftly towards the dining area and quietly called out for Lisa's name.
Lisa turned on the lights and jumped in front of Jennie yelling "SURPRISE!" as she shouted it out, Jennie almost stumbled backwards, but Lisa caught her hand and looked at her. "Happy birthday my baby." Lisa told Jennie, who was in shock, as she was looking around to notice the decorations around the house with the lights on.
"Oh my, I can't believe you still remember." Jennie told Lisa, as she helped her stand up. Jennie's eyes were watery once she saw the three layer birthday cake on the table, surrounded by different types of food that she liked. "You still remember my favorites. You remember everything." Jennie said, walking up to the table.
"I remember it all." Lisa confessed standing next to Jennie. She put her arm around Jennie's shoulders and leaned towards her ear. "Happy birthday, Jen. I'm so glad you were born." Jennie turned to the side and leaned forward to kiss Lisa.
When the maid walked inside the dinning area to bring more food, she saw Lisa and Jennie making out by the cake, so she decided to give them more privacy and left the room. Lisa pulled away slowly and looked at Jennie. "There is something I must show you before we celebrate." Lisa told her and Jennie looked at her, with a confused expression on her face.
"What?" Jennie asked her.
"My room." Lisa responded to her and with that she grabbed Jennie's hand and both girls rushed upstairs. Jennie knew that her birthday celebration would be done later, since she will be pretty busy celebrating something else with Lisa.
Their love.
