"Why does my house look like a complete nightmare?" Lisa questioned Jennie, once all the decorations were in place and the food was being prepared by the catering company. Lisa was still skeptical about using her house for a wild party, but because she wants Jennie to be happy, she has no other choice but to deal with it.
"Because it's halloween." Jennie responded with a spooky voice while approaching Lisa. She gave her a quick peck and handed over the checklist to Lisa, so she could check if everything was ready. "I have a good feeling about this party. I feel like people will talk about this party for a really long time."
"Yeah, people will talk about it, because it's in the end of November and halloween was last month." Lisa joked and Jennie smacked her arm slightly. "Babe, seriously, this place looks like a total hocus pocus rendition. The props are on point and the lighting looks extremely creepy. I can't barely recognise my house. So what I am trying to say is...good job."
"Thank you. Chaeyoung said she is going to send you the list of people she invited, but I don't think many people will show up. Chaeyoung is not as popular as I was, so she might have difficulties." Jennie said, trying to brag about her old days as the queen bitch. But little does she know that she is soon to be wrong.

Three hours later and Lisa's mansion was packed with students from West Woods High. People that Jennie didn't even know, showed up. All of them were invited by Chaeyoung and she seems to have managed to get a lot of people to be present at the party. Lisa and Jennie were standing in the middle of the living room, where a bunch of people were dancing and enjoying themselves. Lisa looked at Jennie, who was gawking at the amount of people that were in the house.
"I think there is a new Queen Bee in West Woods High." Lisa told her and Jennie didn't like what she heard. Sure she didn't care much about the popularity, but she couldn't ignore the 10% part of her that still cared about being the Queen Bee. What surprised her was that Chaeyoung has only been around for a while and she was already considered as the next Queen Bee, while Jennie had to work her hard off to become the Queen Bee. Sometimes, some people have it easier.
"Yeah, I can see that." Jennie commented feeling her inferiority complex kicking inside of her. Lisa placed a comforting arm around Jennie and kissed her cheek. Jennie looked at Lisa and leaned her head forward to kiss her on the lips. Jennie placed her arms around Lisa's neck and they kept kissing her, not bothering about the people around them.
"The party looks amazing." Jennie pulled away when she heard Chaeyoung's voice coming from behind them. Liss hugged Chaeyoung when she saw her and Jennie simply smiled and gave a little wave at Chaeyoung. The blonde girl was one of the few people that had a costume. Most people just came in as they were and some put on some fake blood, pretending to be a zombie.
Chaeyoung was wearing a nurse costume while Jisoo, who was a little further behind her and talking with Sana, was wearing a patient gown. "You two are matching. Cute." Jennie said sarcastically and Chaeyoung rolled her eyes. She looked around and was glad that many of the people she invited showed up.
"It's a full house. I am surprised many people showed up. I wasn't expecting this much. Guess I'm more popular than I thought." Chaeyoung joked and Lisa laughed along, but Jennie didn't find the joke funny. She gave in a fake laugh and wondered around, searching for a clear passage towards the kitchen.
"I'm gonna get some drinks. This place looks wild! Maybe next time check the people you are invinting." Jennie told Chaeyoung and walked away to get the drinks. Chaeyoung shook her head, not understanding why Jennie was such in a trashy and bitter mood.
"What's in it with her?" Chaeyoung asked and Lisa shrug her shoulders. She would like to know what was happening with Jennie, too. Maybe she was jealous that Chaeyoung was really close to Lisa now. "Anyway, let's enjoy the party right!" Chaeyoung yelled and a bunch of people agreed with her. Lisa started dancing with Chaeyoung, but she continuously looked at the kitchen, wondering where Jennie was.
When Jennie got to the kitchen, she was surprised to find Joy standing on the other side, pouring herself a shot of vodka. Jennie approached her, hoping this would be her opportunity to reconcile with her best friend, but once Joy saw Jennie, she drank her shot in one go and left abruptly, not giving Jennie a chance to talk with her.
Jennie followed Joy out of the kitchen, and toward upstairs to the bathroom. Joy went inside, and turned on the lights, while Jennie followed her, locking the door from the inside and sliding the key underneath the door.
Jungkook felt something hit the side of his sneakers and he looked down at what it was. When he saw it was a key, he picked it up and put it inside his back pocket.
Inside the bathroom, Joy was staring at Jennie with anger. The last thing she needs is to talk to Jennie about anything. "Why the fuck would you do that for?! I don't feel like getting stuck here with you!" Joy yelled crossing her arms in the progress and sitting at the edge of the sink.
"Well, too bad. I am want to talk with you. I want to apologise, Joy. I realised how much you mean to me. You are like my sister. We used to be there for each other no matter what. I promise you that I can change. Please give our friendship another chance." Jennie pleaded in a apologetic tone. Joy was looking at the wall, just to avoid looking at Jennie.
Joy sighed out of frustration and stared at Jennie with annoyance. "I want to give our friendship another chance, too. You don't think I miss you? I do. A lot. Everyday, but Jennie, you've hurt my feelings. You lied to me. You thought of me as a joke. Sometimes I wonder if we were really friends or you simply just wanted someone like me to be by your side, to make yourself look better."
"Joy, I can promise you that our friendship meant a lot more than just looks or any other bullshit. What I did was fucked up. You have hurt me as well and I am fine with that. I know that you have trust issues because of your family and I don't want to be another disappointment in your life." Jennie confessed reaching out to hold onto Joy's arm.
Joy stared at Jennie's hand for a while, before a single drop left her eye. "When everything was going wrong in my life, your friendship felt like the right thing. We stuck together no matter what. You helped me surpass most of the struggles that I had to go through. You mean the world to me, Jennie. I'm just having a little trouble trusting you." Joy explained while Jennie wiped away her tears.
"It's alright. I don't expect you to trust me 100%. Trust is earned and I want to earn your trust Joy. We will get through this. Every friendship faces many conflicts in their lifetime, and ours is this one. Just give me a chance to earn both your forgiveness and your trust. I promise I won't disappoint you." Jennie said to Joy and pulled her into a hug.
Joy was hesitant at first, but having Jennie hug her, she felt like she was finally home. Only Jennie's hugs could comfort Joy, who has been through a lot in the past 17 years. "Okay. As long as we stay together. I am willing to try my best to save this friendship." Joy was saying as she pulled away from Jennie, slowly.
"Alright." Jennie agreed whipping away her own tears. She held onto Joy's shoulders and smiled at her. "Now let's get out of here and enjoy the party." Jennie told her and Joy nodded.
"Wait." Joy suddenly remembered that it will be impossible for them to get out of there any time soon. "Didn't you throw the key under the door?"
"Oh fuck!" Jennie responded slamming her palm against her forehead. How could she forget that. "I totally ignored the fact that I locked us here!!"
"You are such a silly girl." Joy told her and Jennie started knocking on the door, hoping someone would hear her.
"Someone out there?! Please open the door?! The key is somewhere on the floor!!! Someone open the door!!" It would be impossible for someone to actually hear Jennie.
While the two girls were having a heart-to-heart conversation in the bathroom, Lisa's house went from a halloween's party to a complete chaos fest. The music had been increased, people were getting heavily drunk and Lisa was looking for Jennie, but she couldn't find her. The night just kept getting worse.
