"I think you can let go now." Jungkook said jokingly to Lisa, who had her arms wrapped around his hips and his head placed against his chest. Lisa was holding so tight that Jungkook thought he would run out of breath, but he stayed quiet instead, letting Lisa share his relief. He told her about the conversation with his mom and Lisa was overjoyed, since she hasn't heard positive news in a while.

The two were in the middle of the corridor at lunch time, standing before the lockers, Lisa clinging onto Jungkook and people passing by them, and staring at them awkwardly. Lisa didn't care what people thought about her and just kept hugging Jungkook, but she had no idea that the latter was feeling uncomfortable, until he cleared his throat.

"Sorry." She apologized pulling away, shyly. She brushed a strand of her hair that was loose and placed it behind her ear. Lisa sported a bright smile as she spoke with Jungkook. "I'm glad your mother is going to be okay. I was worried and felt guilty for not telling you everything. I didn't know what to do with the information and I was conflicted whether I should be honest with you or let you resolve it with your family. I'm satisfied to have chosen the latter."

"Thank you for telling me about seeing my mother at the hospital. I have never felt so close to my mother as I do now. My father won't stop kissing and hugging her and I make sure to show her how much I love her everyday. I just feel awful that such suspenseful situation made me cherish my mother and the fact that she is still around. I should have done it earlier." Jungkook said, while the two of them walked towards the school yard.

"Hey, don't fret about that. It's time you move on and start fresh. You still have time to catch up and make it up to your mother. Unlike me, whose parents literally have no change at redemption, you have a chance to fix your relationship with your mother. Don't blow it." Lisa advised and Jungkook gave her a side hug.

Both of them spotted Joy sitting at the bench, placed on the other side of the yard, that led to the opposite door, that directed students into the other section building of the school. Jungkook motioned Lisa towards Joy and she nodded in understanding. Lisa went back inside the corridor, while Jungkook approached Joy silently, making sure she didn't notice he was approaching her.

"What are you doing?" He had asked, while leaning towards Joy's ear and speaking in a low whisper voice. Joy jumped up, almost dropping her phone, since she was taken by surprise. When she made sure her phone was alright, she smacked Jungkook's arm.

"You scared the shit out of me! Why must you bother me today?!" She whined and Jungkook just smiled and stared at her. Joy's eyes shifted when she realised that Jungkook was giving her a familiar vibe, as he did at the day Jennie auditioned for the dance team. "Can you stop looking at me like that?"

"Like what?" He asked, in curiosity.

"Like that!" She stated, pointing at his face. "You've been staring at me like that for a while and I don't like it. Have you forgotten the fact that we can't stand each other but we tolerate each other since we are in the same group of friends?" Joy asked making Jungkook roll his eyes.

"Wow, you sure know how to make a guy feel pathetic, on a day he should be happy." He mumbled and crossed his arms, while throwing his head back, closing his eyes in the process. Joy couldn't avoid looking at Jungkook, who seemed to try his hardest not to be irritated by Joy and how mean she was with him.

"Why do you say that? Why? Are you happy today?" Joy questioned him, intrigued by his earlier statement. Jungkook was vague at some points and she noticed that he only did that with people he wasn't fully comfortable with.

"I learned some great news involving my family and now I feel more relaxed and happy. That's all you need to know." He spoke, this time emphasising his vagueness by not clarifying things to Joy. He still had his eyes closed and his head tilted back.
