26: Fixing Broken Strings

"Why is it that every time I am near you guys, I end up being punished?" Jisoo asked and Jungkook started chuckling under his breath. They were all being held in the same cell. Jisoo had her head resting against the cell bars while Taehyung and Jungkook were siting down on the bench.

"I gotta say the party was insane." Irene commented and Jennie rolled her eyes. "Where is Lisa by the way?" She asked wondering why she was the only one missing among their "group" in the cell.

"The cops wouldn't dare touch her. Lisa has enough money to buy this town and sell it off on eBay. She is out there calling our guardians." Taehyung explained and that only annoyed Jennie even more. Lisa was out there enjoying her freedom while they were locked up.

"I guess she can't have any problems with the law or else her parents can you that to manipulate her emancipation appeal." Chaeyoung quietly whispered to Jennie, since she noticed how irritated her best friend's girlfriend was.

Chaeyoung was just as surprised as everyone else at how badly Lisa and Jennie argued in front of everyone. Lisa said many things she shouldn't and so did Jennie. Joy was patting Sana's head, as she was lying on the bench with her head on Joy's lap.

"I really just want to get out of here. Not much happened. We were just having some fun." Jungkook said, trying to defend their behavior. Everyone got out of their way to give Jungkook a judgmental look.

"That would be the case if you didn't invite the crazy girls from East Woods High." Joy told him and everyone agreed.

"Or the aggressive punks from South Woods High." Taehyung added onto the list of things that Jungkook needs to be responsible for. He sure made a great mistake inventing outsiders to their party, without having any knowledge of the damage they would cause.

"Fine I get it, I messed up. But let's not forget how Chaeyoung called Jisoo's friends to attend the party. At least the people I invited didn't almost burn down Lisa's yard." Jungkook stated and Chaeyoung rolled her eyes.

She had been sitting on the ground, trying to wait for her parents, but once Jungkook opened his mouth, she stood up immediately. "Wow you go and blame me? Listen, I invited Jisoo's friends because I wanted to be a good girlfriend and not because I felt like having a wild time."

"Yeah." Jisoo said backing her up. "And you did a great job, babe." She turned to Chaeyoung and spoke to her, giving her a thumbs up.

"Wow, you guys really want the couple of the year award that badly, right?" Joy joked and Chaeyoung laughed.

"We might get snubbed because of Sana and Taehyung." Chaeyoung teased and Sana woke right up to try and argue her way out of this conversation.

"Taehyung and I are not a couple. We are just friends." Sana said making sure everyone was hearing her brief explanation, to avoid further misunderstandings.

"Just friends my ass. You mean friends with benefits right?" Irene questioned her making everyone laugh along. Sana started arguing with Irene and Jennie decided to ignore them and to sit down on the ground, next to the bench.

She didn't like how things went with her and Lisa. Jennie was so happy to fix things between her and Joy, that she didn't realize how badly things got out of control. But Lisa yelled at Jennie, making her feel guilty over something she didn't do. Of course Jennie would be in the state she is in, because Lisa made her feel so inferior.

"Jisoo Kim!" Jisoo's head turned over to the entrance and once she saw her mother, she stood up straight and adjusted her clothes. "I did not teach you to behave like an animal! Officer, I am so sorry for the trouble she caused." Her mother apologized to the officer beside her.
