Jack lifts his head. "I have a secret I need to tell you."

"What is it? That you secretly tried out for the basketball team?" I joke. He hated basketball. A weird football player thing at our high school. It was kinda funny because a couple of our old friends did play basketball.

"No." He replies sharply.

He grabs my wrist and pulls me towards my house. Tyler and Jake follow behind me. He leads me to the dining room and sits in a chair. Jake takes a seat across from him and Rover climbs in his lap. Tyler takes a seat and pulls me on his lap.

Jacks forehead hits the table and I hear gasps come from him. I get out of Tyler's grasp and sit next to Jack. He wraps his arms around me and starts to cry on my shoulder. I hug him back and pet his hair.

"It's okay. You don't have to tell me." I coo.

"No. I need to. It would explain my family issue." He sniffles and sits up. I wipe the tears from his face and he tries to give me a smile.

"What has Jack attack all upset?" I say using his old nickname Lexi and I gave him.

"My mother wasn't my dad's mate but she did keep his wolf at bay. Well they had me and for the first few years it was fine. Then mom found her mate in Tyler's pack." He sniffles and continues. "She left dad to go to him. Well one day she came back here and said she was pregnant and wanted to take me with her. Dad got pissed and the Warriors took me out of the area before anything happened to me. She got back home barely alive and gave birth to a son. His name was Ryder and dad always said he looked like mom and how I was just a bastard son. Then dad dissappeared for a week and heard mom died. I freaked out when he got home and ran to your father with my assumption. I was right and he was sentenced to death for killing a female and for trespassing and harming someone's mate. Then I heard later that her mate died of a broken heart and the son became....everyone's son."

He breaks into tears again. I pull him into a hug again and sit there while he cries.

"Shhh, shhhh, it's okay. I'm here. I'm not going to let anything happen to you. You got me. You got dad, Tyler and now Rover. Now you can have the brother you always wanted." I say soothingly.

"I just want my mom." He cries.

"So do I, Jack. I miss my mom too. Just as much as you, if not more." I say, feeling tears running down my face. I set my chin on the top of his head and let the tears fall while he does the same.

I hear someone move and see another black head of hair pop up in my arms. Rover hugs Jack. "I've always wanted a big brother."

Tyler gasps. "Are you saying you never wanted me!?"

"Yes." Rover says cuddling against Jack.

I break into giggles while Tyler looks offended. "Wow. The life on an only child is lonely."

"Oh shut up. You have all of us." Jake says with a grin.

"I'm not so sure about you though." Tyler leans back in his chair with a smug smirk.

Jake acts shocked. "Boy! You did not just go there!"

Jack and Rover lift their head to watch the bickering Beta and Alpha.

"Oh I did, and I will. The only person I need is right there." Tyler says pointing to me.

I look behind me and see my videogames. "You love my games more than me?" I turn back to him with wide eyes.
