I run my hand through my hair and Istop in front of Jack. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lash out. I...sorry." I mutter out an apology.

He gives me a heart stopping grin, which only works on other girls. "It's okay. I understand what's going on."

I place the backpack I was wearing on my bed and pull off my sheath of arrows. I clip it over my waist. I walk into my closet and grab a sports bag I use for emergency situations.  I have spare clothes and sets of everything in it. I walk out and place it on my bed. I open it and pull out a gun. I check the magazine to see if its loaded. It is so I put it back in the bag and zip it up.

"You did call them, right?" I ask.

"Yes. They said to come immediately and they say treat this as a code 56 issue. Which means you are going to be protected at all times. You aren't ever gonna be alone." Jack says, handing me the phone. I put it in my backpack.

"That's all they said?" Usually they say more.

"They said the usual too. They said bring anyone liable to get killed because they are close to you." Jack says with a frown. I know exactly who hebis referring to.

"I don't want to drag him into this. It's to protect him. You understand that right? Please don't make me do this." I don't want Tyler dragged into the agency mess. He can't know what I am or he will be scared of me ir even hate me.

"But they already know he is important to you. At least I think they do. Trust me, you'll thank me later for this." Jack says, grabbing my bag of clothes. "I'm going to get the car ready to go. I'll pack a spare pair of clothes for the both of us and I'll explain. You go and talk to your dad."

I nod and grab my backpack. I throw it on and start to leave my room. Tyler is following me I can feel.

"Wait. I need to tell you something and trust me its for your own safety..." I hear Jack start to say to Tyler.

I turn down the hall to my parents room. I notice the door open and I walk in slowly.

"Dad?" I ask, hesitantly. He runs up to me with a bag in his hand.

"You're safe and alive. Thank god. I heard about Sophie and I don't blame you. Your mom will freak out and I will try to calm her. But please be careful. I need you to be safe. I need an heir to the pack and so far you have shown the most survival instincts and that you are thebinly child left. Please finish this soon." He says. He wraps his arms around me in a hug. I hug him back, tears trying to escape. "I promise I will still hold your 18th birthday party when this blows over. And just give Tyler a chance. You are taking him with you, right?"

I pull away and take the bag. "Yeah, He's coming along for protection.  Same with Jack. I just want those two to get along. I don't want to have to choose."

"Then don't choose. Just follow your instincts." Dad says before kissing me on the forehead.

"SUMMER!" Jack yells.

"I have to go. I'll call you when I get there. Tell Bruce I'm sorry and he knows where I'm at. Tell mom not to worry. I know how to protect myself." I say in a rush. I hug dad quickly and run off to where Jack and Tyler are.

"Sorry. Dad had to tell me something." I say running up to the door leading to the garage, where Jack is standing.

"I know. I hear his voice but couldn't make out what he was saying. Darn wolf hearing sucks." Jack says with a sly grin.

"Sure. Lets say that." I say patting him on the shoulder. I laugh when I see his face shows that he feels offended. I walk past him into the garage.

"What's with the bag? Don't you have enough?" Jack asks.

I look at the bag as I speak. "Dad gave it to me. I have absolutely no idea what's in it but I will look once we are leaving. Which vehicle are we taking?" I look at our 8 car garage filled with all types of vehicles.

"What suits us the best?" Jack asks dangling a set of truck keys from his finger.

I smile. I love trucks. "Sweet. Did you choose this one?" It's our newest car. It's a Ford because dad loves them. I love trucks period.

"Actually, no. Tyler did." Jack says, shocking me.

I look around. "Speaking of him. Where is he?" I ask with a frown. He shouldn't be alone now. They know he's important to me.

"He's in my spare bedroom. He's grabbing us a set of clothes to use. I'm not leaving you at the agency alone. I will share a safe house with you." Jack says.

I nod. I didn't notice Jack and Tyler were the same size. I guess I noticed other things like his gorgeous chiseled chest or his beautiful green eyes. I hear footsteps and turn to see Tyler with a bag slung over his shoulder. Oh my sweet goodness. That is sexy. I look up to see his face has a slight smirk. Oh I know now that he has a cocky attitude at times.

Stupid alphas.
