When yall sat down Kehlani eyes were still glued to her phone. You covered her phone screen with you hand and quickly snatched it.

She tried to snatch it back but you moved it out of her reach.

Y/n: Now let's see...

You see what she was doing and it was messages to one of her friends. You were tempted to read them but instead you went to her photo gallery.

Y/n: Now let's see if I hit the jackpot

She tried to reach for her phone again but you moved out the way. Now you where for certain you was going to find what you was looking for.

As you scrolled you saw pictures of her and her daughter or just her daughter.

Y/n: Awwwww shes so cute...she gets her looks from me

You could feel Kehlani roll her eyes as you kept scrollin and saw pictures of people you didnt recognize.

Y/n: Who are they?

You showed her a picture of a group of kids.

Kehlani: Me and some friends I was in a group with

You kept scrolling until you processed what she said.

Y/n: Wait you were in a group?

Kehlani: Yeah

Y/n: And why am I just finding out

She shrugged her shoulders taking her phone out your hand.

Y/n: Why do you do that?

She said looking at her phone. You covered her screen so she can look at you.

Y/n: Everytime I bring up music or you doing music your vibe changes.

You looked her in the eyes as you have a starring competition. She opens her mouth to say something but is interrupted by Gerald calling out your orders.

You get up and get the food. You tell Gerald that you would get back to him about the music. You've been helping him get signed for a while but the way the industry is you have to be careful about who you introduce to your people especially when it comes to business.

You and Kehlani walk out as you go and open her door for her you look up and see a familiar car in the far distance.

You give her the food and get in on your side and leave.

Y/n: So back to my place?

Kehlani: I guess

Y/n: You guess?

You said stopping at a red light. You look over at her and see shes starring out the window.

Y/n: Hey Ash

She looks at you and you see tears in her eyes. You decided to change the subject.

Y/n: If you comin to my house den my brother and a friend of mine is coming over for bit.

You quickly looked over and saw her shake her head. The car ride to your house was quite. You had so many things on your mind from Maya to the father situation with Jahseh. The thing with Kehlani falls somewhere between.

You understand her not wanting to talk about it. You're not an open person yourself but you like when other open up to you. You pulled in the driveway and sat there.

Y/n: Look whatever you got goin on I'm here if you need me

You dont get a response. You huffed and got out the car. You open Kehlani's door you took the food from her and helped her out. She whispered a thank you and followed you to the door.

You got in the house and went to the kitchen. You sat the food down and walked to the refrigerator to get some water since you forgot about your drink.

You was sitting down at the Island about to get your food but was spun around. You saw it was Kehlani and she was looking at you differently then usual. She grabbed your face and pulled you into a kiss.

It felt different than how you usual kiss like this kiss meant something more. You wrapped your arms around her waisted and pulled her in closer. You pulled away when breathing became a struggle.

You looked her in her eyes as she still had a hold on your face. Her thumb skimmed your cheek. She bit her lip and pulled away.

She moved my hands from her waist while holding eye contact.

Kehlani: Thank you

You smirked

Y/n: I dont know what I did but I need to do it more often

She giggled and moved from between your legs.

You turned around to grab your food. You picked up your phone and texted your brother Ski you was home and to hurry before you didnt feel like having company.

He texted back that he was down the street. You knew that ment he was just now leavin the house.

Your mind drifted to the car you saw at the restaurant. You're trying to think of where you could've seen it before. Your attention was taken when you heard a knock at the door.

You went and looked in the peep hole.

Y/n: Its open dummy

You walked way from the door and quickly gave Kehlani a peck and went back to eating.

Stokeley: The only dum- Dr. Parrish?

Kehlani gave a tight lip smile.

Kehlani: Hey...Stokeley is it?

Stokeley: Yeah wow its weird seeing you outside the hospital

She chuckled

Kehlani: Same here

You rolled your eyes

Y/n: Okay Ski if you would stop flirting...well attemptin to it's making me nauseous and this food is too good to waste.

Stokeley: Is it?

You nodded your head eating next thing you know your food is flying in the air.

You are pissed because you were hungry and you didnt have food In the fridge meaning you would have to go back out.

Stokeley: I wonder what it would taste like now?

You pulled out the glock in your waistband. Everyone but Stokeley reacted. You and him stared at each other.

You was waiting for him to clean up the mess he made and say he would buy you some more food.

You cocked the gun making him raise a eyebrow. You moved the gun from his chest to his head and stood up.

Stokeley: Okay fine I'll buy you some more food put the gun away.

You put it back in your waistband and took some of Kehlani's food.

Y/n: Lex what's up cant speak no more?

You looked at her she was still in shock at you pulling a gun out.

You pulled it out again making her Kehlani flinch.

Y/n: Chill out guys see

You took the clip out and showed that is was empty.

Y/n: No bullets ladies no bullets

They relaxed until you pulled out another one.

Y/n: But I cant speak for this one though

You looked at the glock admiring it.

Alexus: You have serious problems

You looked at her and smiled.

Y/n: Can you help me solve em

You winked and put it back in your pants and got up. She just shook her head and went to the living room.

Y/n: Oh bruv the cleaning stuff is under the sink

He rolled his eyes
