I'm here for you

Chapter 5

The next morning, Shikamaru woke up with the blonde in his arms, at first he was a bit surprised but later when he recalled everything from last night, he sighed, he was thinking about the talk with Naruto, thinking about what the villagers did made him angry once again.

Shikamaru closed his eyes and tried to calm down, after a while when he was relaxed, he stared at the blonde who was still asleep, he can feel the breath of other on his chest and if he wants to be honst with himself, he really liked the way Naruto felt in his arm.

Shikamaru couldn't control the urge to feel the blonde hair, he gently caressed the smooth silky hair, it was really soft, he wanted to touch it more however it made Naruto wake up.

Naruto fluttered his eyes open and looked at Shikamaru who was playing with his  hair, he mumbled,"Shikamaru?" The said person immediately stopped, he let out a small cough to hide his embarrassement,"Are you awake?" 

Naruto nodded as Shikamaru pulled away and sat down on the couch, Naruto pushed back the thought that he liked shikamaru's arms around him.

Naruto said,"Yeah I am. It has been a long time since I slept this peacefully, thanks shikamaru~"  Shikamaru smiled,"No need to thank me."

Naruto stood up and said,"Then I'll go take a shower first." Shikamaru nodded,"Yeah Okay, I'll wait here for you."

With this Naruto went in the bathroom, while Shikamaru started looking around, now that he looked clearly at the house in the broad day light he noticed that the house was in far more worse condition. 

He got up from the bed and went to the living room, he looked at the broken window that was being fixed with wood, there were creaks on the ceiling, the walls had graffiti on it, the words written were far more scarring to heart, he couldn't imagine the pain the  Naruto has been through. After thinking for a while he decided that he would ask Naruto to stay at Nara compound with him.

While Shikamaru was busy in his thoughts, Naruto came out of the shower,"Hey Shikamaru what are you doing?"

Shikamaru turned around and looked at Naruto who was drying his head with a towel, shikamaru was blinded by the shinning blonde hair, he gulped,"Nothing."

Naruto smiled and said,"Okay then What would you like for breakfast?" Shikamaru shrugged,"Anything is fine."

Naruto nodded and made his way towards the kitchen counter , Shikamaru waited at the dining table for the food to get ready.

Soon Naruto was done and placed the food on the table. They both shared a look at each other before digging in.

Shikamaru drank a few sips of water before asking,"Naruto do you want to live in the Nara compound with me?" 

Naruto almost choked on his food, he looked at Shikamaru who continued,"Look I am not forcing you or anything, but the condition this house is in.....What I mean is the hokage is going to give you your house soon so for the time being you can stay at Nara compound and if you find your house you can move out. You will have ypour own room and at night we can sleep together. It would be easier that way."

Naruto felt something bloom in his heart, he asked hesitantly,"Can I-I real-ly do that?"

Before Naruto spoke, Shikamaru thought he messed up a  big time but hearing Naruto he flashed him a smile,"Of course you can." 

Naruto smiled brightly,"Thanks."

Shikamaru got up from the chair,"Then let's go pack some necesitties and have you move in. I am sure my parents would love having you around."

Naruto nodded and started packing his bag  with Shikamaru.

Guys I am so stupid, I wrote this chapter a week ago but forgot to publish it. 

Also since I don't get much free time, I am going to upload two chapters per week. And more if I have more free time.
