Chapter 12

A month has passed by, Naruto entered the leaf village, he was tired, his always straight back was now droop down, there were bags under his eyes, a few bandages wrapped around his arm clumsily, he was strong and the rogues weren't a big deal for him but due to lack of sleep he managed to get hurt.

He wanted to go to Shikamaru and hug the boy to sleep, a part of him was scared that Shikamaru was not at home and was on a mission and he wouldn't be able to  sleep, he tried to stop entertaining the thought, a sigh left his lips, he walked into the village, slowly dragging his feet.

He couldn't help but notice quite a bit things have changed, half of the  houses were finished with construction, the road was almost repaired, and many other things.

He continued walking towards the Nara compound when his eyes laid on the  person he wanted to see the most, Shikamaru. He sighed in relied and sped his pace up but then his eyes laid on the suna nin besides the Nara.

Shikamaru was too happy to see Naruto, however when he took Naruto's condition in, a frown formed on his face.

Shikamaru made his way towards Naaruto with Temari and another a girl named Hayako, who was also a nin from Suna.

Shikamaru waved slightly,"Welcome  back Naruto."

Naruto was going to say something but the girl Hayako interuppted, her voice filled with disgust,"Naruto? So he is the container of the demon."

Naruto's eyebrow creased, he knew there were still people who hated Kurama, and if that was the case, he hated them too,"Kurama, his name his Kurama, or you can call him Kitsune, don't call him Demon." He corrected as he  glared at the girl.

Shikamaru just looked a Naruto, he felt that something was wrong, he was going to say something but then Hayako interrupted him,"Who cares about his name? He is just a murderer, a demon anyway."

Hearing this something snapped in him. Kurama tried calming him down, he knew he didn't something bad could happen to the girl.

Kit calm down, we can't do anything about what people thinks of me, and I am a Demon and I have killed people, I don't mind them. So calm down.

However Naruto completely ignored him, he took a step forward, sending dangerous glare at the girl,"He has killed people I agree, but he was controlled, he has always saved tons of people on his own will so you better shut your mouth if you don't know anything, you bitch!"

Shikamaru's eyes widened and  the girl asked him in disbelief,"You called me bitch?!"

Naruto moved backwards,"Who cares about your name, you are a bitch anyway."

Temari said standing infront of Hayako,"Naruto you are going too far."

Naruto rolled his eyes and  completely ignored her, like she did a month ago, he looked at Shikamaru, their eyes met and he smiled softly,"See you at home." he jumped up on the roof and started to go towards the Nara compund.

When Naruto was out of sight, Temari asked,"He is still at your place?!"

Shikamaru nodded and Temari continued,"He went too far, he has crossed the line, how can he call hayako bitch? Hayako are you okay?"

Hayako looked at Temari and was going to say something but Shikamaru cut her in,"But she was the one who started it, she should know what to say or not, Naruto warned her at first." His voice was filled with support for Naruto.

Temari raised her brows,"Are you taking his side right now?"

Shikammaru shrugged,"I am not taking his side, I was stating the facts. Now let's go, don't forget you have work to do here."

With this he started walking in front, Temari followed him behind, she was getting angry but she didn't want to fight with Shikamaru, she gave a look to Hayako who was still shocked and they continued walking towards the hokage office.
