CHAPTER THREE

MARTINA'S POV

"Come on, fairies! Fly faster!" I clapped to put more pressure on them.

Just like the past few months, we're currently working on a pressure test. Para masanay ang fairies ko sa pagmamadali nang hindi natataranta dahil imposibleng hindi mangyari 'yun sa linya ng trabaho namin.

Satisfaction on my face was visible as I watched them work quickly yet relaxed. Napansin ko namang papalapit sa akin si Charlotte.

"Fairy Queen, nandito na po yung models," Charlotte informed me.

"Bring them in and make them stand on the stage. I'll be back," I told her before going to my office to get a copy of my list of the models.

Nang makabalik sa studio, I stared at the models with my serious face.

"Good morning, everyone. I am the official designer and owner of Modern Glam, also known as MG Style. My name is Martina Gill. You are all aware that our fashion line will be opened to the world next week. I know it's a bit rushed but you're here meaning you've known and accepted the rules and consequences." Umupo ako sa upuan na nakaharap sa stage. I crossed my legs and looked at the models. "Line up, everyone, and head backstage. Show me what you got," I told them.

There are twenty models all in all. We'll be having three runs.

The Summer Bloom features our swimsuits and beach dresses. The Evening Fate features our evening gowns, cocktail dresses, and formal jumpsuits. Lastly, The Mid-Day Fun features our smart casuals.

"We're ready!" rinig kong sigaw ni Charlotte.

"Impress me!" sigaw ko pabalik.

The music began and the ladies did their job. I observed the way they walked as well as their confidence.

What I need is to get the investors' attention. I have to impress them, not just with the designs of the clothes but also with how well the models present them.

I want them to know that when the ladies buy my clothes and wear them, they'll feel a lot more confident. Because that's what I want people to achieve. Confidence.

"Charlotte, Paris, Maecel, make sure to give honest feedback about them then pass it to me later," I instructed three of my fairies.

Hindi lang dapat tela, sinulid, at karayom ang alam nila about the fashion industry, kundi pati ang pag-distinguish ng tama at angkop na models na magrerepresenta ng damit na gawa nila.

The models were all cat walking, they were all good enough, but the last woman made me smile.

Lintik naman talaga! Do I look like someone who'll perform a catwalk in front of many media personnel? Not to mention the other audiences.
