SPECIAL CHAPTER - JUST ONE NIGHT

MARTINA'S POV

I knew I never liked girls in my life. Masyado kasi silang madadaldal, clingy, problematic, and just ewwy. I could never romantically understand them. Kung bilang friend lang naman ay okay ako roon. I do have two female friends, parehong mataray at para laging galit sa mundo pero they're really caring and—and they don't fancy me.

I think that would be the very reason why I'm comfortable with Tere. She doesn't fancy me and she has an attitude. Just perfect for a friend-type.

Nang makita ko kaninang papunta kami sa table nila ay alam ko na kaagad kung anong gagawin ni Dad, which pissed me off big time hence, my action and words towards Tere. I knew the emotion she had when our fathers began talking to each other, it was the same feeling as mine. Boredom and irritation. Kaya naman nang maabutan ko siya sa bar kanina na umiinom mag-isa, I just felt like talking to her and asking her to leave the boring place with me and have fun.

I tried calling Trecia and Feline—who I believe were lurking around Thailand to chill, which was supposed to be where I am if it wasn't for my great dad—but their phones were busy and the other wasn't picking up. Kaya naman napagpasyahan ko na lang na kami na lang ni Tere ang mag-bar sa LUST DAWN.

We went inside the place and the loud sounds invaded our ears. I was smiling widely because I missed this place. I was one of the first members of this club since I love club-hopping. It has been three months since this club opened at hindi ako nakabalik last month kaya feeling ko antagal na.

"Now, this is the proper way to get wasted." I couldn't help but chuckle as I adored the place. Agad ko namang hinila si Tere papunta sa bar at saka umorder. "One margarita, and..." I looked at Tere.

"One bloody mary," she said.

I turned around to look at the other members having fun on the dance floor. I couldn't help but ask the first-timer. "Ang ganda rito, diba?"

"Am not used to it but it looks fun naman," she said before smiling.

I know it wasn't the first time I saw her smile tonight but there's something about this smile that made me stare at her for too long.

When I realized I'm doing something I shouldn't have done, I quickly shook my head.

Ano ka ba naman, Martina! OMG! Why are you staring and adoring her smile romantically‽ Jusko naman! Hindi ka pa lasing! Mukha kang sinasapian! I cannot!

"Here's your order, Ma'am."

Bumalik ang wisyo ko because of the bartender's voice. Sabay pa kaming napatingin ni Tere sa lalake para kuhanin ang orders namin.

Una namang uminom sa aming dalawa si Tere, and god! Why do I want to be the glass she's holding right now‽

"Hmm... So good."

I swear I gulped when I heard her moan. I had to remove those alien feelings and just properly enjoy this night so I forced myself to act normal. "I know, right?" I said as I forced a laugh. "Come on. Punta muna tayo sa dancefloor. maghanap tayo ng malalandi."

Hinatak ko naman siya papuntang dance floor para malipat ang atensyon ko. I really don't like what's happening to me around this woman.

Good thing I got drunk with all those mixed alcohol intakes and decided to just dance with Tere. I even laughed at her moves and cheered her on as I went along. "Go, girl! Sway those hips!"

We've been drunk dancing for I don't know how long when Tere decided to use the bathroom. Hinyaan ko naman siya dahil enjoy na enjoy pa ako sa pagsasayaw.
