Paws Up! (Part I)

Pearl Pataglia: Species-Albino Cottontail Rabbit is a former victim of the Crimson Raiders, and now a student of Eastside School. A fan of the Crisis Brood leaders, Sherman, Aubrey, and Zelene for rescuing her from the big drug lab. Also, has a love interest in Nawabée.

Kina's twin sister, Allie Staava-Species-Twin Sister-Species-Tabby-Calico cat mix. From her mother Kitty Staava and her father, Ryan Staava who is working abroad. Age-18 She was born a few minutes after Kina.

Sivvine Caveneh-Species-Red Panda
Calm-ambitious-resilient. -Has history and a major crush on Jackson Junior.-Age-14.

After school ends, the Crisis Brood along with their newest members head to the party spot.
Sherman: "Okay everyone, let's ride because I'm ready to roll out!"
Aubrey: "Heheh, Shermie. Give everyone some moments to get in their vehicles."
Sherman: "Oh come on, we all spent after school time on homework so we can relax and enjoy a well deserved break."
Aubrey: "I know, babe. But remember, we need to have some patience."
Sherman: "Okay. Okay. A few more minutes."
Angel: "Sherman?"
Desmond: "Big brother?!"
Sherman: "Yes, Angel and Desmond? What is it?"
Desmond: "Chloe's parents are back in town and they said she can come with us."
Sherman: "Yeah, fine. And Angel what is your question?"
Angel: "Kuon Cellaro asked me about plans tonight and... I was wondering if he could come with us?"
Sherman: "Out the question Angel, he's not coming with us."
Angel: "Sherman, please... he's changed. I am begging you."
Sherman: "I don't care about what he's claiming to be. He's not invited."
Kuon Cellaro: "Ahem. She's not lying to you, Sherman. Can't we just bury the hatchet and put past grievances behind us?"
He offers a paw-shake.
Sherman: "Not happening. You've bullied a lot of furries and you have the nerve to try and ask me to forgive you after what you've done to Angel, Cecelia, Zakari, and the rest of my youngest siblings.
Kuon: "Look, I admit that I was a horrible creature. There's no disputing that. But can you at least find it in your heart to forgive me. I asked your sister a year ago and she has."
Angel: "Learn to forgive him. Please, Shermie. If not for him. Do it for me and yourself."
Sherman: (snarls) "Fine, we're square."
He shakes Kuon's paw and grips it tightly.
Sherman: "But if you ever cross me or anyone else on my team. I'll crack your paw digits one by one."
Kuon: (whimpers) "Crystal clear..."
Their paw shake ends and then he walks into the driver's side of his car.
Angel: "He'll get used to you. Just give him some time."
Kuon: "I was afraid that he would snap my neck."
Angel: "He won't. He's just very protective of family."
Kuon: "Okay. Yeah. So which ride am I going in?"
Angel: "Oh, the third van over there. It's Mitchell's."
Kuon: "Alright, time to have some fun."
They convey of friends and their newest team members drive to the party location.
......At Club Firestone......
Rachel Powell, Donta Couché, Botellie Brouchard, Ashley Owens, Leilani Owens, Scaritha Richards, Dyani Tsosie, and Tonia Aldens await at the party's meet up spot, Club Firestone the guests of honor; Aubrey, Sherman and the rest of the Crisis Brood.
Rachel: "Okay, girls. This party needs to be special!"
Donyé: "Yeah, except we haven't hung out with Aubrey since she got all mission oriented and responsible for the lives of others with her boyfriend."
Botellie: "Hey, Sherman Tontione is a hottie! I can see why she likes him a lot."
Ashley: "But... he's a big and famous rare gray-red wolf hybrid. And... Aubrey is an arctic hare. I mean isn't he interested in women of similar species?"
Leilani: "Yeah, I mean look at me. I'm super hot and other male wolves drool over me. Including that one in gym class... Hans... but... he's not too bright or sophisticated."
Scaritha: "Well, the odds of you two getting a chance with Sherman are slim. I however, have the better chance since I'm obviously far more beautiful than you two."
Ashley: "Hah! Sherman can decide that. Besides I'm far more attractive than you all."
Leilani: "No it's obviously me."
Ashley: "No me!"
Leilani: "Me!"
Scaritha: "It's me and the jury is unanimous! Hahaha!"
Ashley and Leilani yell at Scaritha as they fight over who gets to claim time with Sherman first.
Dyani: "Ahem! Girls! The club's band is ready! Let's get this party popping."
Tonia: "Yeah. Enough fighting already. Look! Guests are arriving!"
Students of many species both pure and hybrid arrive at the club and start partying. In the fray, Layla's parents drop her and her friends, Pearl Pataglia, Sivvine Caveneh, Allie Staava off at the club's entrance.
Kona: "Have a fun night, girls! And Layla, be careful!"
Layla: "Thanks, Mom!"
Ahmed: "You better not bring trouble!"
Kona: "Ahmed..."
Ahmed: "Only joking, baby. Heheh."
They drive off back the way they came.
Layla: "Alright girls. We're here for one good reason."
Allie Staava: "Whew! Bring on the alcohol!"
Layla: "Ahem!"
Allie: "I mean have fun and take it easy."
Layla: "Perfect."
Sivvine Cavenah: "To party hardy?"
Pearl Pataglia: "Yeah, but it's mainly because Layla wants to flirt with someone in the Crisis Brood."
Layla: "Pearl..."
Pearl: "Come on girlfriend, you know it's true."
Layla: "Okay, maybe I am attracted to someone."
Pearl: "Oooh... who is it?"
Sivvine: "Is it one of carnivores or one of herbivores on their team?"
Layla: "Well, two carnivores actually... but I can't decide who to pick. Namir or Bavos?"
......One hour and twenty minutes later......
The Crisis Brood arrives a little later and enters the club.
Sherman: "Alright, Crisis Brood! The goal is to have a great night. But if anything suspicious happens. Let me know, and I'll handle it."
Aubrey: "My Sherman meant to say both of us. Let both of us know."
The others just nodded and spread out to see good spots to dance and grab drinks.
Sherman: "Why do you do that?"
Aubrey: "Because I thought we were supposed to be together on this co-leadership deal."
Sherman: "It's all about making an inspiring pep talk on my own for once."
Aubrey: "Well, I just thought it would be better to things together as a couple."
Sherman: "Aubrey, babe. You don't have to go out of your way to prove that we're a thing."
Aubrey: "Shermie, a lot of furries look down on interspecies relationships. Especially, when the topic of carnivores and herbivores being together pops up."
Sherman: "Aubs, I chose you for who you are, not because of what you are."
Aubrey: "I know we mated, but... some furries at school and society still don't even consider the idea of 'us' being possible. You're a wolf and I'm a hare."
Sherman: "Aubrey, as a big man and furred creature. I don't let others dictate what I am capable of or even the type of girl I choose to date."
He holds her right paw and looks into her eyes with sincerity.
Aubrey: "Well... you're braver than I am."
Sherman: "My parents were brave enough to stay together and they became one of the first carnivore-herbivore couples in our world."
Aubrey: "My folks are understanding of it, but I don't know if..."
Sherman kisses her lips gently and caresses her cheek.
Sherman: "You worry way too much, baby."
Aubrey: (blushes) "It's my job to worry about us. I..."
Sherman: "Shh... come on. Let's go and enjoy the party."
Aubrey: "Okay."
Sherman: "Besides, we're famous."
Aubrey: "Heheh, I love you, ."
Dredge Thunder-Claw: "Good evening brothers and sisters! Can I get wha-wha?!"
Club's Crowd: "Wha-Wha!"
Dredge Thunder Claw: "Yeah, alright! Now... let's get it started tonight with the long barrage of beats in your face! Turning on my newest single on the charts, 'It's On'."
As the party gets started, Sherman and Aubrey get on the floor first. Followed by Wallace and Triskah find the right moment to step in on the club's dance floor.
Wallace: "Ready, Triskah?"
Triskah: "Yes, Wallace. I sure am."
The two cheetah furries start to dance to together.
Mitchell: "I'm not going out there."
Mei: "Come on, Mitchell! It will be fun. How can you have never danced before?"
Mitchell: "Tried it before and someone tripped me."
Mei: "I won't trip you and you're not going flop. Just trust me, Mitch."
Mitchell: "Ugh, fine."
Meanwhile, Jackson Junior grabbing punch with Ruth and Victoria.
Zelene: "Is there any good punch left?"
Jackson Junior: "You want a real drink?"
Zelene: "No thanks, I don't want any alcohol in my system."
Jackson Junior: "Okay, then I guess we're all getting regular fruit punch."
Victoria: "I'll have a real drink. Make it full bottle of red wine."
Ruth: "Sis? What are you doing?"
Victoria: "I want to have some fun. That's all. Get off my case."
Ruth: "You shouldn't drink a whole bottle of wine in one night, Victoria. It could adversely affect your liver."
Victoria: "I won't drink alcohol. If you get Sherman to dance with me."
Ruth: "Victoria..."
She sighs.
Jackson Junior: "She needs to cool down."
Ruth: "I've recently tried setting her up with a classmate of mine. She said she wasn't interested."
Victoria: "I am not interested! Sherman Tontione is the most famous and hottest canine in school. I'm not gonna be the only girl in here without a date!"
Victoria waits by the bar table.
Victoria: "Hey caribou barkeep, get me a light tea, please."
Caribou Club Bartender: "First of all my name Sven. Not caribou. Show a little respect."
Victoria: "I'm sorry, I'm just depressed from being single."
Sven: "Sounds like a tough drag. Want a lemon in your drink?"
Victoria: "Yes, please."
Sven: "Hey, relax. I've been married to a great woman for years. Trust me, you'll find your Mr. Right."
Victoria: "Thanks. I uh... gotta get back to the party. Here's a tip for the good advice."
Sven: "You're welcome."
Victoria returns to the dance floor and starts moving to the rhythm of the club music.
......Scene change......
Felicia: "Great party, huh, JJ?! Heheh!"
Jackson Junior: "Heheh! Yeah. You want punch too?"
Felicia: "Yeah, sure! Thanks!"
Jackson Junior pours some punch into a cup for her as she notices Ruth approaching.
Ruth: "JJ? Do you want to dance?"
Jackson Junior: "Yeah. One sec, Ruthie."
Ruth: (blushes)
Jackson Junior: "Alright! Let's join the fun!"
Ruth: "Great! Let's go! I love this slow song coming up!"
Jackson Junior and Ruth start dancing together as the night goes on, while Felicia plots to break them up."
Zelene: "I'm going out to keep watch. You know for that suspicious activity, that Sherman mentioned."
She waits outside and keeps watch while sipping her punch. Meanwhile inside the club, Aubrey notices her friends Rachel Donta, Botellie, Ashley, Leilani, Scaritha, Dyani, and Tonia dancing close to stage and only partially sober.
Botellie: "Aubrey! Hey girl! Come on over! It's party time! Whoo!"
Ashley: "Sherman!"
Leilani: "Sherman!"
Ashley and Leilani: "We love you! Can we take a selfie with you and Aubrey?"
Sherman: "Uhm... sure..."
Aubrey: "Yeah, come on."
Ashley: "Thanks Sherman! You're our favorite member of the Crisis Brood!"
Leilani: "Only I like him more."
Rachel: "That would be me, girlfriend. I got his autograph two years ago first."
Botellie: "No me!"
Donta: "Me!"
Scaritha: "My autograph will be bigger."
Sherman: "Girls you can all get my autograph. Just calm down and enjoy the party."
Dyani: "Yeah, he's right guys. Just chill."
Tonia: "Look Dredge Thunder Claw is starting a new song."
As Sherman calms the mild bickering among the six wolves and two rabbit girls.
Felicia watches as Jackson Junior is being watched by Sivvine, the red panda girl.
In Sivvine's Mind: "I gotta get Ruth away from JJ. But how... ohh... that could work."
Sivvine: "Hi, mind if I borrow JJ for a moment?"
Ruth: "Anything you say to my boyfriend, you can say to me."
Sivvine: "Actually, me and him had a moment together before."
Ruth: "Liar, my JJ would never betray me."
Sivvine: "Oh no. Ask him."
Jackson Junior: (laughs) "That's not what happened Sivvine. You hit on me and asked me out first. Then I declined your offer of a date and we only went to Bistro-88 in Southwest Coastal City once so I could tutor you before your natural history test."
Sivvine: "Ha! Then why do you keep the love letters I sent you?"
Ruth: "Love letters?"
Sivvine: "Not to mention the ones from your red fox friend, Alicia Porter."
Ruth: "She's not after him anymore."
Sivvine: "Yeah, right. You'll see Ruth. One of us is bound to beat you and claim JJ for ourselves."
Pearl: "Sivvine stop! Join me, Allie, and Nandi over here. Stop fighting with others."
Sivvine: "Yeah, alright fine."
In Sivvine's Mind: "You've won for now Ruth, but know that at the first chance I get... you're going down. And... Jackson Tontione Junior will be mine."
Sivvine: "Where's Layla?"
Nandi: "She went outside."
......Outside the club......
Zelene: "Ugh... so far nothing. Might as well go back inside."
Layla: "Hi. Zelene, right?"
Zeleme: "Yeah?"
Layla: "I'm Layla Ahmed. Uhm, I was told that anyone could join the Crisis Brood."
Zelene: "Yeah, but I'm not the leader, I'm the first lieutenant of the Crisis Brood. Sherman and Aubrey are the ones who run our team."
Layla: "Could you put in a good word for me? Also I want to get to know one or two of your teammates in particular."
Zelene: "Who would they be?"
Layla: Namir and Bavos."
Zelene: "Just to be clear, Bavos is only into dating women of his own kind. But, I'm sure Namir might not mind your company."
Layla: "Okay, cool. I'll talk to you later."
Zelene: "Yeah."
She looks away as she sips the berry punch from her cup.
Dredge Thunder Claw: "Alright! Who's ready for Club Firestone's limbo challenge?! Yeah!"
Everyone in the club cheers as they all join in a big line for the limbo dance.
Jaronte: "Do you want to go first Reva?"
Reva: "Oh no, I insist Jaronte. You can do it."
George: "You two lovebirds are so stingy. I'm going first."
The German Shepherd male bends below the limbo stick.
Mallory: "I can do that, easily. Whoa!"
Mallory tries to bend but then slips on some water.
Mallory: "Ouch!"
Ashon: "Let me help you up, Mallory."
Mallory: "Thank you Ashon."
Ashon: "No biggie, Mals."
Mallory: "Mals?"
Ashon: "Yeah, that's my nickname for you. Unless you think it's too odd."
Mallory: "No, it's not that. I haven't heard you call me, Mals in a long time."
Ashon: "Heheh, uhm... do you want to try again after everyone else has their turn."
Mallory: "Okay. I'll give it a chance."
Ashon: "You're very uhm..."
Mallory: "Yes...?"
Ashon: "Mals... I uh..."
Aziza: "Wait for me, Mallory! No one beats the Tontiones!"
Eliza: "Come on, Cecelia!"
Cecelia: "Run through the limbo stick, sis! We're gonna win all win the next round of limbo!"
Joseph: "Not unless we go first!"
Zakari: "Yeah!"
Zaino: "Yeah!"
Desmond: "Yes!"
Chloe: "I could win too, Dezzi."
Desmond: "Sorry Clo-Clo, but family loyalty first."
Chloe: "I thought we were friends."
Desmond: "We are Chloe. We are."
Chloe: "And you can't just give me, your friend a great win?"
Desmond: "We win some, we lose some."
Chloe: (sighs) "Fine. I just figured out our friendship first for once when it comes to fun."
Desmond: "I'll get you a free fruit punch."
Chloe: "Okay deal. But in return, I get to join you on your turn during the second round of limbo."
Desmond: "Come on, let's have some fun!"
Dredge Thunder Claw: "Get ready for round two! First up is Neal Rodman!"
Neal: "Prepare to witness perfection!"
He goes down below slowly without hitting the limbo laser.
Namir: "Time to rock!"
Radinavia: "I'm next."
Namir: "Teh, hyena furries..."
Layla: "Uhm... hi Namir..."
Namir: "Oh hey... what's up?"
Layla: "I can go after you."
Namir: "Sure... uhm... who are you again?"
Layla: "Oh sorry, I'm Layla. Layla Ahmed."
Namir: "Good to meet you Layla. We can talk more after this."
Layla: "Okay. Good luck... Namir..."
Namir: "Whoo! Yeah!"
He ducks underneath the limbo pile after Radinavia has taken her turn.
Namir: "Ha! I've done it!"
Layla: "Awesome! We're ducking under!"
Nawabée: "Whoo!"
Pearl: "Wait for me, Nawabée!"
Felicia: "Hunnh! Top that Ruth!"
Ruth: "Me and JJ are about to do it together. Ready baby?"
Jackson Junior: "Ready."
Jackson Junior and Ruth duck down below the limbo pole paw in paw.
Ruth: "Stuff that into your Ops folder."
Felicia: "I'm not an operative! And if even if I was I'd castrate you in under sixty seconds."
Ruth: "I'd block you off with my spirit energy shield and punch you in the gut."
Felicia: "Jackson Junior, was meant to be mine!"
As Jackson Junior watches as Ruth fights with Felicia.
Ruth: "I've known him way longer than you!"
Felicia: "I knew I should have just finished you off when I had the chance."
Ruth: "Try it and I'll slash you!"
Felicia: "Not if I do it first!"
Ruth punches Felicia and Felicia slashes Ruth's face at first, Jackson Tontione Junior gets in between the two to break up the fight.
Jackson Junior: "Enough, you two! This is a party, not a brawl pit. Felicia, you calm yourself. And Ruth, come with me. Let's go somewhere else to talk."
Ruth: "Hmmf."
Ruth blushes and smirks confidently as Jackson Junior leads her to a private spot, outside.
Ruth: "I hate her! I straight up hate her, JJ!"
Jackson Junior: "Hey, keep your voice down."
Ruth: "I'm sorry."
Jackson Junior: "I'm not a fan of having her around every second, but she's only a friend and Sherman allowed her on the team because her father is the freaking commissioner.
Ruth: "And that Sivvine... how do you know her? And why is she acting like you and her are together?"
Jackson Junior: "Sivvine Cavenah was a minor mistake that I made after one of my classes."
Ruth: "What do you mean minor mistake? What happened?"
Jackson Junior: (sighs) "Three years ago... before you and I started dating, I was hanging out with Sivvine behind your back."
......Flashback to year 5035......
Younger Jackson Junior: "So Sivvine, what other cool things have you done besides bamboo jumping?"
Younger Sivvine: "Well, Jackson Junior... I have been known to tube surf on the perfect tides."
Younger Jackson Junior: "Wow, that's interesting. My older brother, Sherman taught me how to surf earlier this year."
Younger Sivvine: "Maybe you and I could go tube surfing together sometime."
Younger Sivvine: "I'd love that. But... you'd have to keep up."
Younger Jackson Junior: "Sounds like a challenge."
Younger Sivvine: "That's because it is..."
Sivvine gets lost in Jackson Junior's eyes and pecks his lips.
Younger Sivvine: "Oh my... I'm.., I'm sorry... are you already dating someone... Mmmph!?"
Younger Jackson Junior: "Mmmm, Mwah!"
Jackson Junior surprises the red panda girl with a deep kiss in return.
Jackson Junior: "Dating who? Ruth is only my best friend and Felicia is just a study partner."
Younger Sivvine: "Oh, I just thought since you too are so close that you and her might have been more than that."
Younger Jackson Junior: "I've been hanging with her yes... but me and her haven't done anything with each other at all. I swear."
After hearing this, Sivvine scoots closer to JJ and entwines her left paw with his right paw. Her cheeks blush beneath her fur as JJ nuzzles her and the pair share a long passionate moment.
......Scene change to 5037......
Younger Jackson Junior: "That was fun a ride, Sivvine! Spelunking down there was fun."
Younger Sivvine: "Heheh! Yeah! I didn't you'd actually jump in that clear cave water. We survived the long walk, JJ. Mwah! Mwah! I don't care if my parents or my brothers think you're too different. You're perfect just the way you are. Wild and or otherwise."
Younger Jackson Junior: "Thanks, and I think the same thing about you. Always looking for a new adventure or activity for us to do. I find it very intriguing Lady Cavenah."
Younger Sivvine: "Aww, my JJ... you really know how to make a girl feel special."
Younger Jackson Junior: "Well, you are special. Special to me."
Jackson Junior and Sivvine nuzzle each other and exchange a passionate kiss as they walk out the cave and reach the park exit.
......Flashbacks end......
Ruth is just dumbfounded after hearing JJ's explanation.
Ruth: "So... this is why Sivvine thinks that you're still into her? Because you two never actually broke up?"
Jackson Junior: "No I ended things with Sivvine after you confessed to me about how you felt about me. But apparently she hasn't moved on and refuses to accept that it's been over."
Ruth: "So you've dated Sivvine and Felicia before and never bothered to tell me until now?"
Jackson Junior: "Ruth they're the past. You're my present and future, okay."
Ruth: "Okay. I believe you. I'm just very protective of you that's all."
Jackson Junior: "And my thing with Felicia, didn't last for two days. She's too controlling and had her father ran a background check on me as an intimidation tactic."
Ruth: "Wow, that is cuckoo."
Jackson Junior: "Yeah. Believe me. You're the only girl on my mind."
Ruth: "Heheh, Mwah! I am ready to go back inside now."
Jackson Junior: "Let's just enjoy the night and party together, baby."
Ruth: (blushes)
They walk back into the club and see Zelene winning the limbo contest after sucking without touching the floor.
Dredge Thunder Claw: "We have our winner! Zelene Eris, come and claim your prize trophy!"
Zelene: "Yay! I did it! I can't believe I did it!"
Everyone cheers for her victory at limbo dancing.
Sherman: "Great job, Zelene!"
Aubrey: "Yeah! You were great!"
Zelene: "Thanks guys! You two were pretty good together too!"
Alujura: "Great job! Isn't she Lucas?"
Lucas: "Yeah, yeah, she did good."
Redford: "Yeah, great job Zelene."
Justine Felida: "She is very flexible like me, huh, Redford?"
Redford: "You know it babe."
Elizabeth Renton: "Whoo!"
Echova Garcia: "Whoo!"
Allie: "Yeah!"
Neal: "Way to go!"
Radinavia: "You go girl!"
Ashon and Mallory clap as well and stop after glancing at one another.
Mallory: "Heheh, let's talk over at that VIP room, first."
Ashon: "Are you sure we're allowed?"
Mallory: "I'm part of the Crisis Brood. So yes. Besides, I'll tell the bouncer that you're an invited guest."
Ashon: "Okay, lead the way."
The young dhole boy follows the rabbit-dhole hybrid girl into the VIP room.
Club Bouncer: "Hey! This is for big VIP's only."
Mallory: "Sir, I'm a member of the Crisis Brood. The same team who helped clean the criminal element in Downtown District of Coastal City."
Club Bouncer: "Oh, yes... go ahead in."
The buff male sika deer lets her and Ashon in.
Mallory: "Thank you. Come on in Ashon."
The pair are in the VIP room and get comfortable.
Ashon: "So Mallory, are you ready to tell your family that you and I have been a thing, yet?"
Mallory: "Not yet. But..."
Ashon: "Why not? I mean your oldest siblings date with almost no issues. Why can't we?"
Mallory: "My big brother Sherman is the issue. He thinks I'm not responsible enough for certain things, even though I can be."
Ashon: "Mals, you're plenty of responsible if anything."
Mallory: "You really think that, Ashon?"
Ashon: "You are alright. You have a nurturing nature and that's admirable thing. Family makes us all whole."
Mallory: "Aww... come here you!"
Mallory smiles and sheds a few tears of joy as she hugs Ashon. They then exchange a small short kiss before looking into each other's eyes.
Ashon: "Are you ready?"
Mallory: "Yeah, I am ready to tell them about us."
Ashon and Mallory walk towards most of the Crisis Brood.
Mallory: "Uhm... can me and Ashon have your attention?"
She calls out as loud as she can, but the music overcomes every possible sound suddenly as it gets louder.
Dredge Thunder Claw: "Now who wants to party!? Without getting too crazy."
The crowd cheers so loud as the music riffs upwards.
Dredge Thunder Claw: "Oh yeah! Put your paws up! Hey, yeah creatures of all types! Put your paws up! As we balling through the night, put your paws up! Say oh Whoa!"
The Crowd: "Oh whoa!"
Dredge Thunder Claw: "Oh Whoa!"
The Crowd: "Oh Whoa!"
Dredge Thunder Claw: "Now get on that floor and Club Firestone what you got!"
Everyone starts to dance and shake it out like there is no tomorrow.
