He's not so bad

Slowly waking up, it hit me what happened last night.James was soundly asleep next to me as i got up going into the bathroom.

I looked at myself in the mirror again and sighed getting ready.

As I walked out I noticed James slowly waking up.

"Good morning", I said with a smile.

"Morning", he replied sleepily.

"Don't get caught okay".I stated.

"Yes mam".

Wow his morning voice does get to me.

....

I was talking with Wanda when I realised James came downstairs.

I gave him a smile which he returned and made his way over to see Steve.

"Bucky's menacing".Wanda stated, to see my reaction.

"He's not so bad", I replied with a small smile.

"You still like him".She said, smirking.

"N-no, well of course, but nothing's going to happen between us", I replied looking down.

"We'll wait and see", she smiled standing up.

In return I rolled my eyes and looked over to him.

-A few hours later-

I was doing some work when fury called for me.

"What is it?",I asked politely.

"Well, there's something on this hard drive that we managed to dig up.

"Okay, what about it",I gulped.

"It includes you".He said blankly.

"Uhh, what exactly does it show me doing?"I replied anxiously.

"Killing. More specifically...in the red room", He sighed looking down.

"O-oh", I choked.

"So is that why it was 'personal information'?"

He nodded his head.

"They were going to release it", he explained.

"so um, how exactly did they get that footage", I asked.

"They have a whole database on you, and the problem is....there's many more, in many different hydra bases".

"Hydra", I whispered to myself trying to not show emotion.

"I know it's a sensitive topic for you, but i don't think we have a choice".

"Why are they doing this now?", I exclaimed.

"Because....they know we have Barnes".He replied.

"So if we do this, Barnes won't get hurt?", I replied.

He shook his head "I can't guarantee his safety".

"I see,"I said, looking down.

"I know the past you have with him..."

I looked back up.

"...and hydra knows as well".

"Mhm", I whispered.

"So are you up for it?", He asked.

"Of course....when's the next mission?", I asked shakily.

"Next week".He stated.

I tried to keep my emotions to myself but I couldn't shake it, I quickly turned as the tears trickled down my face.

If something bad happens to James after this, i may as well kill myself. I thought negatively in my head.
