It was a lot to take in.

Aila kept looking at the clock. It had been 2 minutes since the doctor had come to explain everything to her.

What happened and how it happened.

However she doesn't remember anything.

Worse yet, she doesn't feel any type of remorse or sadness or guilt.

It was as if it never happened.

Should she even believe what the doctor said?

How does she move from this?

Physically she was tired, she had spent the last three days sleeping, stirring a few time to move her body. She learned it had been three days since she stroke Brian's hair.

When she finally opened her eyes, she noticed her vision was a little tiny bit better, which surprised her.

She was so tire she only had strength to feel Brian's hair. In all seriousness, she thought she was dreaming. In her dream she woke up and Brian was next to her. She wanted to touch him, so she reached out her hand. She remembered Brian talking to her, but her sleepiness was greater, shutting her eyes again.

She found out that was three days ago. She stroke Brian's hair three days ago. She couldn't believe she spent three days sleeping. Just what did she do?

Oh yeah, break the bond with all seven of her soulmates, which left her with no soulmate mark. Maybe that's why her eye sight looked better?

But how does she move from this?

There was no recollection of anything. The past month was probably the worst to remember. Everything else was more blended in with her life.

Maybe she didn't really find out who her soulmates were till a month ago? But she probably won't notice which parts on her memory are missing, not till she gets back to her life.

The only thing she remembers for certain is the fact she has been to a lot of cities the past month.

She remembered being in California, Texas, Florida, Atlanta and now she's in New York. There were these huge gaps between the sight-seeing she did, and the schoolwork.

She remembers taking time off work but not why?

And why would her soulmates travel so much? Were they having some kind of road trip? No she remembers some airplane rides.

She didn't even think she ever has soulmates to begin with. To her, soulmates didn't exist.

It's been six minutes since the doctor left and her head was throbbing. Trying to remember only made her head hurt. It all felt surreal. Like she had been dreaming and only parts of the dream were remembered.

Aila would have thought everything was a lie. If it wasn't for the fact she was in a hospital in New York.

And the fact Brian was so worried, affirming everything the doctor said, but not disclosing information.

And the tattoo. She vaguely remembers the pain of getting the tattoo done, however she doesn't remember what it means.

It looks like a galaxy has been painted on her inner wrist. She actually liked it. She also liked it had different shades of purple.

She liked the color purple, a lot.

"You keep staring at your tattoo?" Aila had a distant look on her face as she met Brian's worried one.

"I can't remember why I got it. But I like it. It looks pretty. I'm glad I went with purple."

"Me too. I always told you I liked it."
