Aila's voice rang in the room, making everyone stiff in their positions.

"But of course you already knew that. They tricked us." A smile spread over when she looked at the soulmates.

"They didn't know if I was going to be truthful so they attack me hoping you would defend me and say the real truth." Aila circle back as she spoke to her soulmates.

"You see they are researchers, investigators, truth-seekers. Why wouldn't they know about me? When they had a similar case before? You see the people who have not been introduced before," Aila signal to three other individuals, all having a clipboard and pencil. "They have been observing us, taking notes, seeing how I would react. They are probably expert on this mental disorder."

The two head researchers raised their eyebrows at her deducting skills.

"Aila we must say. You got everything right."

Aila could only chuckle at the face her soulmates made. They were beyond shocked, all except Yoongi. He had a cold exterior.

"You did the only thing someone with love would do, defend me. Thank you." She made eye contact with everyone. She came back to her seat, kissing Namjoon on the cheek before seating beside him.

They got tricked.

"Wait so we got tricked?!" Hoseok, who didn't really raise his voice from anger, voiced out as he gripped the chair's armrest.

"Hobi baby it's ok. Don't worry about it. They were right anyways. I was going to pretend I didn't know what they were talking about, then cooperate with them, show them progress to convince them, then have a happy life." Aila's smiled at the people sitting in front of her.

Aila could feel how mad everyone was. The bond was heavy with anger. She could only smile at how cute they had been. It made her feel happy the way they defended her.

"So you are going to be honest with us?" The first researcher asked, making eye contact with Aila.

"Of course. I would never lie to your face just to make things go my way." Aila leaned forward in her seat, giving them a smile.

They pretty much knew everything in Aila's life. She told them about her life in Honduras, things she did different because of the purple hue that cover her eyes.

How she moved to the US, without saying goodbye to her friends and family.

How her father coming to say bye at the airport was the last time she saw him, because he died a year later.

How her mother would tell her to talk to him over the phone but she took it as nothing. How she didn't know he died in a car accident, because she never asked about him. How she found out months after. How they told her he got injured then passed away, when in reality he died on impact.

He told them how her stepfather would make her feel bad because she couldn't learn English fast enough. How he made her feel like shit, made her cry, and made it noticeable she was not his kid. How he made sure to rub her grades in her face because they were bad.

How some kids at school were mean to her. How she used to cry every night before she went to sleep. How she never told her mother anything because she was a complete stranger.

How her mother was pregnant and then had her brother, worked till late, and still came home to cook for her husband.

How one time they had to run away from home because stepdad hit her mother. He destroyed everything in their house and they had to go stay at a hotel room.
