Five days went by quickly, too quickly. Aila had enjoyed her time by herself.
She slowly began to get the thought in her head BTS are soulmates not idols. Soulmates. It was ok for her to hold their hands, share stares and gazes, laugh about silly things, be herself because they would never judge. It was ok for her to show herself to them. She wasn't ugly for them. She wasn't fat. Even when Aila had again a tiny bit of weight over the past few months, she kept telling herself they weren't going to shame her for having a more curvy frame than the average Korean women. They weren't going to be mad at her for not being Korean and not knowing their language, although she was learned it. They weren't going to ashamed of her being Latina. They weren't going to make fun of her because she was bigger than any of them.
She wanted to give them something. She made bracelets out of yarn, all with seven different shades of purple, all different patterns. She knew they probably wore better jewelry than a hand-made yarn bracelet, but she hoped they would at least thank her. She wanted to let them know she was willing to try for herself and them.
The day was finally here, it was April 20th, late afternoon when she was taken to a separate waiting room to meet the boys. She wasn't wearing anything special. Just some black jeans that fit her nicely and a white plain T-shirt. She didn't think she could impress them. She had the bracelets with her, realization finally sinking in.

The guys were so damn jet lagged. This was probably the hardest part and the airplane ride. However this time, they couldn't be more happier to be jet lag. Their soulmate was waiting for them. They had wanted to take her out to Yosemite Park but plans fell through when they had the concerts in Korea. They would only be able to spend 4 days with her. But that didn't matter. They were going to finally physically see her and start the bonding process.
"Why is the hotel room so far away?" Jimin pouted as he complained to Namjoon. He laughed, pecked his plumpy lips, and took his hand.
"Baby we have waited all this time to meet her, I'm sure you can wait more."
"The staff is not coming to this hotel right?" Seokjin wanted to make sure they were going to have some privacy.
"No they are staying in Santa Clara. We will meet them on the 24th." After Namjoon answered this question, they stayed quiet. All of them feeling anxious, but no one said anything.
Soon enough they pulled into the garage of the hotel room, made their way inside. Sejin already checked them in and their hotel rooms were waiting for them. And soon enough they felt her heartbeat began to invade their body. Such calm beating. They rushed to their rooms, dropped the luggage and soon enough were standing in front of a door. Her heart beat so intense, but it was calm. Was she not nervous? They all had sweaty palms.
"This is the last time we are going to feel her heartbeat." Hoseok broke the silence as they mustered the courage to go inside. They all took a deep breath and opened the door.
She was sitting upside down on the couch, with her head hanging off the seat, hair all over the floor, feet up on the air. With eyes closed, she had her AirPods in and it seem like she was listening to music and whatever song it was, it had her moving. Her head kept on bobbing and as well as her feet. Not to mention her hand kept on slapping to an unknown rhythm.
She completely missed the sound of the door opening and the footsteps coming closer. They were completely mesmerized by her, by how free she seemed. Their eyes finally had the last layer removed, exposing the true colors of the world. Their hearts immediately became soft for her. They felt this immense calmness cover them, a soft warm blanket on a winter's day. And nothing could be more perfect than having all eight of them in one room. They felt completely, something they didn't know they had missing.
